100 pure tea tree oil

tea ceremony | February 12th, 2025

Okay, so I’ve been seeing “100% pure tea tree oil” all over the place, and I finally decided to give it a shot. I’m always up for trying natural stuff, especially when it comes to skincare.

Getting Started

First, I got myself a bottle. Made sure it said “100% pure” on the label – didn’t want any of that diluted stuff. I opened it up, and whoa, that smell is STRONG. Like, really strong. Kind of medicinal, but not in a bad way… just intense.

The Experiment

  • Spot Treatment: I’ve had this annoying little pimple on my chin for like, a week. So, I took a cotton swab, dipped it in the tea tree oil (just a tiny bit!), and dabbed it directly on the blemish.
  • Diluted Mix: I also read you could add a few drops to your moisturizer. I figured, why not? I squeezed some of my regular moisturizer into my palm, added two drops of tea tree oil, and mixed it all up. Then, I just applied it to my face like normal.

The Results (So Far)

Okay, it’s only been a couple of days, but I’m already seeing some changes. That pimple? It’s definitely shrunk. It’s not completely gone, but it’s way less angry-looking. And my skin overall? It feels… cleaner. I don’t know how else to describe it. It’s not dry or anything, just… fresh.

I also used tea tree oil to my hair. I added about 5 drops of it into my shampoo, mixed and applied to my hair. I felt that my hair became smoother than ever before.

My Thoughts

I’m going to keep using this stuff for a while and see how it goes. That smell, though, it’s still something I’m getting used to. But if it keeps working like this, I think I can handle it. It’s way better than a bunch of harsh chemicals, that’s for sure. I will be doing some updates about any progress. Stay tuned!
