Yesterday, I was craving something refreshing and fruity, so I decided to whip up a batch of mango oolong tea. It’s super easy, and I thought I’d share my little experiment with you all.

Getting Started

First, I gathered my ingredients. I already had some loose leaf oolong tea, and I picked up a couple of ripe mangoes from the grocery store. Oh, and I needed some ice, obviously.

Brewing the Tea

I boiled some water and steeped the oolong tea for about 5 minutes. I like my tea a bit strong, so you might want to adjust the steeping time if you prefer it milder. After steeping, I removed the tea leaves and let the tea cool down a little.

Prepping the Mango

While the tea was cooling, I peeled and diced the mangoes. I tried to make the pieces relatively small so they’d blend easily later. It got a little messy, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right?

Blending Time

Once the tea was lukewarm, I poured it into my blender. Then, I added the diced mango and a handful of ice cubes. I blended everything until it was nice and smooth. It looked pretty good, and I was getting excited to taste it!

The Final Touch

I poured the mango oolong mixture into a tall glass.I add a little mint leaf.

It was pretty satisfying. The sweetness of the mango really complements the floral notes of the oolong. It’s my new favorite summer drink!
