Okay, so I’ve been on this whole natural deodorant kick lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I finally landed on this white tea scent, and I think I’ve cracked the code. I wanted to share how I went about making my own, ’cause honestly, it’s way easier than you’d think.

Getting Started

First things first, I needed to gather my supplies. I’m all about keeping things simple, so I didn’t want a million ingredients. Here’s what I grabbed:

  • Coconut oil: This is the base, and it’s super moisturizing.
  • Baking soda: This is the stuff that fights the stink.
  • Cornstarch: Helps absorb sweat, keeping you feeling drier.
  • White tea essential oil: For that fresh, clean scent I was going for.
  • Shea Butter: For more mositurizing.

Mixing It Up

Now for the fun part! I started by melting down some coconut oil and shea butter. It takes around 1/4 cup of coconut oil. I added them into a bowl then microwaved them. I did it in 30-second bursts, stirring in between, until it was all liquid. Then I added 1/4 cup of baking soda, and 1/4 cup of * I added them into the melted coconut oil and shea butter.I mixed it with a fork until there is no more visible powder.

I added about 15-20 drops of the white tea essential oil. I probably could’ve added more, but I wanted to start subtle. I mixed everything together until it was nice and smooth, kind of like a thick paste.

The Final Product

Finally, I scooped the mixture into a small, empty jar I had lying around. You could use an old deodorant container too, I guess. And that’s it! I let it cool down and solidify a bit, and it was good to go.

I’ve been using this stuff for a couple of weeks now, and I’m honestly impressed. It keeps me smelling fresh all day, even when I’m running around. It’s not an antiperspirant, so you’ll still sweat, but that’s natural, right? It is doing its job to fight the stink!

Making my own white tea deodorant was way easier than I expected, and now I’m hooked! I saved some bucks for more important stuff and I made a good deodorant that won’t harm myself.
