white tea
Okay, so I’ve been wanting to make my own perfume for a while, and I finally took the plunge! I decided to try a white tea and ginger scent because it sounded so fresh and unique. Let me tell you, it was a bit of an adventure, but I’m so happy with how it turned out.
First, I gathered all my materials. I ordered some essential oils online – white tea and ginger, obviously – and also some carrier oil. I chose jojoba oil because I heard it’s good for your skin and doesn’t have a strong smell. I also picked up some little glass bottles with rollerballs from a craft store. Pretty basic stuff, really.
This is where things got interesting…and a little messy. I started by mixing a few drops of each essential oil into a small amount of the jojoba oil. I quickly realized that figuring out the right ratio was going to be tricky!
Finally, after what felt like a million tries, I got it! I found the perfect balance. It’s hard to describe, but it smells so clean and invigorating. The ginger gives it a little kick, but the white tea is definitely the star of the show.
Once I was happy with the scent, I carefully poured the mixture into the little glass bottles. I made sure to label them so I wouldn’t forget what I’d created. I even designed some cute little labels on my computer and printed them out.
I’m so proud of my homemade perfume! It smells amazing, and it’s totally unique. I’ve been wearing it every day, and I’ve even gotten a few compliments. It’s such a satisfying feeling to know that I made something like this with my own two hands. I’m already planning my next scent adventure! Maybe something with citrus next time…
