Okay, so I’ve been seeing “white tea pura” all over my feed, and you know I had to jump on the bandwagon. Gotta see what the hype is all about, right?

Getting Started

First things first, I needed the goods. I hit up my local tea shop – they usually have everything – but no luck. Seriously, where is everyone getting this stuff? I ended up ordering it online. Took a few days, which felt like forever, but hey, it finally arrived!

The Experiment

I’m a simple guy, so I’m not going to get fancy. I boiled some water, I want to make sure get the hot water, and then I grab my favorite mug.

• Step 1: Heat the water. Pretty standard stuff.
• Step 2: Put the tea, I get the leaf into my small tea ball. Because I don’t want get any leaf into my tea.
• Step 3: Pour the hot water over the tea in my mug.
• Step 4: Now comes the hard part…waiting. I let it steep for, like, 5 minutes. Maybe a little longer because I got distracted by a cute cat video.
• Step 5: Drink the tea!

The Results

Honestly, I think it’s pretty good! Super light, I means really light, and a little bit sweet. I didn’t add anything to it – no sugar, no honey, nothing. Wanted to taste the “pura,” you know?

I am so happy that finally made my own white tea pura! And take a sip, taste is good!

Would I make it again? Sure, why not. It’s a nice change from my usual black tea, It make me feel better. Maybe next time I’ll try it iced. I will try to make it again tomorrow.
