Okay, so I’ve been trying to be more mindful of the stuff I put on my body, you know? Like, reading labels and all that. And my hair, it’s been feeling kinda…blah. Dry, a little frizzy. So I thought, “Let’s try something new!” I’d heard good things about green tea for your hair, so I decided to give green tea shampoo and conditioner a shot.
First, I looked around online for some options. There are, like, a ton of different brands out there. It was a little overwhelming, to be honest. I ended up picking one that had pretty good reviews and wasn’t crazy expensive. I’m not made of money, people!
When the package arrived, I was actually kind of excited to try it. I know, I know, it’s just shampoo. But hey, little things, right? The bottles looked nice, all sleek and green. It smelled pretty good too – not too strong, just a nice, fresh scent.
So, I hopped in the shower. The shampoo lathered up really nicely, which I liked. Some of those “natural” shampoos barely foam up, and I feel like I need a ton of it to get my hair clean. This one felt good, though. I massaged it into my scalp, making sure to get all the way down to the roots.
Then, I rinsed it out. It washed away clean, no weird residue or anything. Next up, the conditioner. I applied that mostly to the ends of my hair, since that’s where it tends to get the driest. I left it in for a few minutes, like the bottle said, while I did the rest of my shower stuff.
Finally, I rinsed out the conditioner. My hair felt super soft, even when it was still wet. I towel-dried it a bit, and then just let it air dry the rest of the way.
Honestly, I’m pretty impressed! My hair definitely feels softer and looks shinier. It’s not, like, a miracle cure or anything, but it’s a noticeable improvement. And it smells really nice, too. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I’m still liking it. I think I’ll keep this one in my rotation for a while!
I’m not saying this is the best shampoo, but at least for now, it matches my imagine.
