organic tea
Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about these here tea sets for Christmas. Folks always gettin’ all fancy around the holidays, and tea, well, it’s become a big thing.
Used to be, tea was just tea. Hot water and a bag, maybe some sugar if you were feelin’ sweet. Now they got all sorts of flavors and whatnots. “Specialty teas,” they call ’em. Sounds right uppity to me. But hey, folks like what they like, I ain’t judgin’.
I seen these boxes, pretty as ya please, with all kinds of tea bags inside. Different colors, different smells. They got boxes with pictures of holly and berries, and even some with sparkly stuff all over ’em. Christmas, ya know? Gotta make it all shiny and bright.
Now, I seen some tea sets they call “fruity” teas. Got all kinds of fruit flavors mixed in. Apple, orange, lemon… you name it. They even got ones with spices in ’em, for a warm, cozy feeling. They call it “holiday spice” or somethin’ like that. Sounds warm and toasty, like sittin’ by the fire on a cold night.
And let me tell ya, they ain’t cheap! These tea sets can cost ya a pretty penny. But folks seem to like ’em. They buy ’em up for gifts, or for havin’ when company comes over. It’s all part of the Christmas fuss, I reckon. Gotta have the special food, the special drinks, and now the special tea.
I heard tell of some real fancy tea sets, made of somethin’ called “mirror finish.” Shiny as a new dime, they say. And some are even “break-resistant.” That’s good, I guess, cause I know how clumsy some folks can be. Drop that mug and it’s shattered into a million pieces, and then you got a mess to clean up.
And if you’re lookin’ to make some of that Christmas tea, well, it ain’t hard. Just boil some water, put your tea bags in a cup or a pot, and pour the water over it. Let it sit for a few minutes, then take the bags out. Add some sugar if you want, or maybe some milk. Whatever suits your taste.
Some folks like to drink it hot, some like it cold. If you want it cold, just let it cool down a bit, then put it in the icebox. They call it a “refrigerator” now, but I still call it an icebox. Old habits die hard, you know.
So, there ya have it. A little bit about these here tea sets for Christmas. They fancy, they expensive, and they seem to make folks happy. If that’s what you want, then go for it. Me? I’ll just stick with my regular ol’ tea. It ain’t fancy, but it gets the job done. But I ain’t gonna judge nobody for wanting somethin’ a little special during the holidays. It’s a time for joy, after all, and if a fancy tea set brings ya joy, well, then that’s all that matters. Merry Christmas, ya’ll!
