green tea
Well, let me tell ya ’bout this here lychee black tea. I ain’t no fancy doctor or nothin’, but I heard it’s good for ya, ya know?
Keeps your heart pumpin’ strong, they say. Somethin’ ’bout keepin’ the bad stuff outta your blood and lettin’ the good stuff flow. Like cleanin’ out the pipes in your sink, I guess. My old man, he had bad pipes, always cloggin’ up. This tea, maybe it helps with that kinda thing inside your body.
Now, they got all sorts of fancy teas out there, oolong this and jasmine that. But this lychee black tea, it’s got a bit more kick to it, you know? Gets ya goin’ in the mornin’. Like a good cup of coffee, but with a fruity taste. Kinda sweet, kinda tangy, like them grapes and pears they sell at the market. You can put some sugar in it, make it real sweet, or pour in some cream, make it all smooth and milky. My grandbaby, she likes it with that tapioca stuff, them little balls at the bottom. Kids these days, they like all sorts of weird things.
I heard this tea’s been around for a long, long time. Way back when, in China, they started makin’ it. Imagine that! Folks drinkin’ the same kinda tea a thousand years ago. Must be somethin’ to it, if it’s lasted that long.
They say it’s got this stuff called “an-tee-ox-i-dants.” Sounds fancy, don’t it? I ain’t sure what it means, but it’s supposed to be good for ya. Keeps your insides clean, I reckon. Like scrubbin’ the pots and pans after supper. Gotta keep things clean, inside and out, that’s what I always say.
If you wanna make this tea, you gotta boil the water real good. Hotter than a summer day in July. Then you pour it over the tea leaves and let it sit for a bit. Let it steep, they call it. Like soakin’ your feet after a long day in the fields. Then you can drink it hot, or you can pour it over ice and drink it cold. Either way, it’s good for ya. Or so they say.
I ain’t no expert, mind you. I’m just an old woman who likes a good cup of tea. And this lychee black tea, it’s pretty good. It’s sweet, it’s strong, and it makes me feel good. And that’s all that matters, ain’t it?
So next time you’re at the store, look for that lychee black tea. Give it a try. You might just like it. And who knows, maybe it’ll keep your heart pumpin’ strong for years to come.
And don’t forget, you can add a little lemon or lime to it, make it even tastier. Just like when you make them pies, a little bit of this, a little bit of that, makes it all better. That’s what I say about life too. A little bit of sweetness, a little bit of tang, that’s what makes it worth livin’.
Now, I gotta go. Got chores to do. But you remember what I said, alright? Lychee black tea. Good for the heart, good for the soul. And that’s the truth, as sure as I’m standin’ here.
One more thing, they say it helps with your appetite and makes your immune system strong. You know, keeps you from catchin’ them colds and such. So, it’s like killin’ two birds with one stone, as they say. Good tea and good health all in one cup.
