fruit tea
Alright, let me tell ya ’bout this Lipton white tea, the way I see it. Now, I ain’t no fancy pants, but I know what tastes good and what don’t.
First off, they say it’s made from the “finest tea leaves in the world.” Well, I reckon that sounds mighty good, don’t it? Makes ya think of them pickers out there, grabbin’ only the best leaves, real careful-like. But honestly, to me, a tea leaf is a tea leaf, long as it makes a good cuppa.
They talk about a “clean, pure taste.” And yeah, I gotta say, that’s about right. It ain’t like some of them teas that taste like they been sittin’ in a dusty old cupboard for years. This one’s fresh, like spring water, you know? Not too strong, not too weak, just right for sippin’ on a hot day, or even when you’re feelin’ a bit under the weather.
And then there’s this “tea flavonoids” business. Sounds mighty scientific, don’t it? I ain’t got a clue what them flavonoids are, but if they’re good for ya, then that’s just a bonus, I reckon. Folks these days are always talkin’ about healthy this and healthy that. Me? I just want somethin’ that tastes good and warms me up, or cools me down, dependin’ on the weather.
They also mention “hints of fruit.” Now, that’s where it gets interestin’. It ain’t like them fruit teas that taste like candy, all sugary and fake. This one’s got just a touch of somethin’ extra, a little somethin’ that makes ya go, “Hmm, that’s nice.” It’s like a whisper of fruit, not a shout. You know, like when you walk past a flower garden and get a whiff of somethin’ sweet, but you can’t quite put your finger on what it is.
And they say it’s “100% natural.” Well, that’s important, ain’t it? I don’t want no chemicals and funny stuff in my tea. I want somethin’ that comes from the good earth, somethin’ that God made. That’s what makes it taste real, you know? Not like them fake drinks that leave a funny taste in your mouth.
I mostly drink it hot, you see. Boil up some water in the kettle, put a teabag in a cup, pour the water over it, and let it steep for a bit. That’s all there is to it. Sometimes, if I’m feelin’ fancy, I’ll add a little bit of honey or a squeeze of lemon. But most of the time, I just drink it plain. It’s good that way, real good.
But I heard tell some folks like it iced, too. Specially in the summer, when it’s hot as blazes outside. I tried it that way once, and it was alright, I guess. Just make it strong, like they say on the box, then pour it over ice. You can add some sugar or somethin’ if you want, but I like it just the way it is.
Now, let’s talk about the price. It ain’t the cheapest tea in the store, that’s for sure. But it ain’t the most expensive neither. I reckon it’s worth the money, though. You get a good cup of tea, and it lasts a good long time. A box of them teabags will keep me goin’ for weeks, maybe even a month, dependin’ on how much tea I’m drinkin’.
And you can find it pretty much anywhere, too. Grocery store, drugstore, even them big box stores. So, it ain’t hard to get your hands on, which is a good thing, I reckon. Nothin’ worse than findin’ somethin’ you like and then not bein’ able to get it no more.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a good, plain tea, somethin’ that’s tasty and refreshin’, then I reckon you should give this Lipton white tea a try. It ain’t gonna cure all your ills or make you young again, but it’ll warm you up, cool you down, and make you feel good inside. And that’s all that matters, ain’t it?
Anyways, that’s my two cents on it. Take it or leave it, it don’t matter to me none. I’m just tellin’ ya like it is, the way I see it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go make myself another cuppa.
