ginger tea
Well, let me tell you somethin’ about this white tea jasmine. I ain’t no fancy tea expert, mind you, just a regular old woman who likes a good cuppa.
First off, they say this tea is good for ya. Keeps your heart pumpin’ strong, they say, and maybe even keeps you from forgettin’ where you put your spectacles. And somethin’ about fightin’ off them nasty cancers too. Who knows if it’s true, but it can’t hurt, right? They also jabber on about losin’ weight. Lord knows I could use a little help there, ha! But I ain’t holdin’ my breath.
Now, most times, this jasmine tea, it’s got that green tea in it. But this white tea kind, it’s a bit different, you see. It’s lighter, not so bitter, and smells like a whole field of flowers bloomin’ in the spring. They say it’s the best smellin’ tea in China. China, can you believe it? That’s a far piece away!
Makin’ it is easy peasy. Just a spoonful of tea in a cup, pour in some hot water – not boilin’ hot, mind you, just hot enough – and let it sit for a bit. Then you strain it out and there you go, a nice warm cup of tea. It’s kinda sweet, kinda flowery, just plain nice.
This white tea, they don’t talk about it as much as that green tea stuff. But from what I hear, it’s got all the same good stuff in it, maybe even more. They’re still figurin’ it out, I guess. Scientists and all them smart folks, they like to poke and prod at things, you know?
I got some as a gift once. “Organic white tea” it said on the box. Sounded fancy. I thought, “Well, I ain’t too good for a fancy tea.” And let me tell you, it was mighty fine. Smoother than a baby’s bottom, that tea was.
Someone told me this “white jasmine tea” is what they call a “captivating blend.” Captivating, huh? Sounds like somethin’ out of a romance novel. But I guess it fits. It’s got that light taste of the white tea and that strong smell of jasmine, all mixed together. It’s like a party in your mouth, a gentle party, mind you, not one of them loud ones.
And it ain’t just any jasmine tea, it’s made with jasmine blossoms. They take them pretty little flowers and mix ‘em right in with the tea leaves. That’s how you get that smell, that wonderful, flowery smell. It’s enough to make you forget your troubles, at least for a little while.
I heard there’s all kinds of jasmine tea out there, different brands and such. Some come in bags, some loose. I ain’t picky. As long as it tastes good and smells nice, I’m happy. But this white tea jasmine, it’s somethin’ special. It’s delicate, you know? Like a fine piece of china. You gotta treat it right, appreciate it.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a nice cup of tea, somethin’ a little different, somethin’ that’ll make you feel good inside and out, give this white tea jasmine a try. You might just like it. And if you don’t, well, more for me, I say!
And remember, a cup of tea can fix most things. Feeling down? Have a cup of tea. Feeling tired? Have a cup of tea. Feeling lonely? Have a cup of tea and think of me. It ain’t a cure-all, but it sure does help.
So go on, get yourself some white tea jasmine. You deserve it. We all deserve a little somethin’ nice in our lives, don’t we? And a good cup of tea, well, that’s about as nice as it gets.
