tea ceremony
Alright, let’s talk about tea for breakfast, you know, the kind of thing you gulp down before you start your day. I ain’t no fancy expert or nothin’, just a person who likes a good cuppa in the mornin’. And lemme tell ya, there’s a whole heap of things to know about it, even if you just wanna dunk a biscuit.
First off, can you drink tea on an empty stomach? Well, sure you can. Lots of folks do it, ain’t no big deal. But, see, this tea stuff, it’s got that caffeine thing in it, you know, the stuff that makes you all jittery. And tannins too, whatever those are. So, if your belly’s empty, it might hit you harder, make you feel a bit funny. I ain’t sayin’ don’t do it, just sayin’ be careful, maybe eat a little somethin’ with it, like a piece of toast or somethin’. Don’t want ya gettin’ all wobbly, now.
Now, what kind of tea are we talkin’ about? There’s this Irish Breakfast Black Tea. Strong stuff, that is. Real rich and hearty, gets you goin’ in the mornin’. If you like your tea to punch ya in the face a little, that’s the one for ya. It’ll wake ya up better than any rooster crowin’, that’s for sure.
Then there’s all sorts of other teas folks drink in the mornin’. Some like it light and flowery, some like it dark and strong. It’s all a matter of taste, I reckon. You gotta find what you like. Don’t let nobody tell ya what kind of tea to drink. You’re the one drinkin’ it, ain’t ya?
And speaking of breakfast, what do you eat with your tea? That’s a whole other story. Some folks like a big ol’ fry-up, eggs and bacon and all that. Some just have a bit of toast. Me? I like a good biscuit, somethin’ to dunk. Nothin’ fancy, just somethin’ to fill my belly and keep me goin’ till lunchtime. You ever try dunkin’ a croissant in your tea? Some folks do, seems a bit fancy for me but you do you I always say.
Now, let’s get to this English Breakfast Tea. Heard a lot about that one. Seems it’s a black tea, made from leaves they grow way over in India and Sri Lanka. They mix a bunch of different leaves together to get that special taste. It’s supposed to be strong, too, real good for gettin’ you movin’ in the mornin’. Never been to them places, but I reckon they know a thing or two about tea over there. They been growin’ it for ages, ain’t they?
So, there you have it, a bit of a natter about tea for breakfast. It ain’t rocket science, just a simple pleasure. Find a tea you like, drink it how you like it, and don’t let nobody tell ya different. And remember, a good cuppa can make even the worst mornin’ a little bit better. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go put the kettle on.
And one more thing, they say some teas got more of that caffeine stuff than others. If you’re one of them folks who gets all jumpy, maybe go for a tea that ain’t so strong. Or just drink less of it, I guess. It’s all common sense, really. Just listen to your body and do what feels right. Don’t go chuggin’ down a gallon of strong tea if it makes you feel like you’re gonna bounce off the walls.
Oh, and another thing I heard, some teas are better with milk, some are better without. Again, it’s all about what you like. I always put a splash of milk in my tea, but that’s just me. You do it how you like it. There ain’t no right or wrong way to drink tea, long as you enjoy it. That’s the main thing.
So, go on, get yourself a cuppa. Sit down, relax, and enjoy the mornin’. Life’s too short to worry about silly things. And a good cup of tea can make it all a little bit easier, you know? It warms ya up, inside and out. And that’s never a bad thing, now is it? Specially when the weather turns cold and the wind’s howlin’ outside. Nothin’ better than a hot cuppa then.
Alright, I’ve rambled on long enough. Go on, get to it. And don’t forget, a little bit of somethin’ to eat with your tea never hurt nobody. Now go on, shoo! You got things to do, places to be! And don’t forget to enjoy that tea!
