Alright, let’s talk about buyin’ that green tea, you know, the stuff they say is good for ya. I ain’t no fancy expert or nothin’, but I know a thing or two about gettin’ a good deal and not gettin’ ripped off, ya hear?

First off, where to buy this green tea? Well, you got your big stores, like them supermarkets, right? They got all sorts of brands, probably cheap too. But is it any good? That’s the question, ain’t it? I went to one the other day, and the tea bags looked like they’d been sittin’ there since last year. Dusty and all. You gotta watch out for that.

Then there’s them fancy shops, the ones with all the pretty packages and high prices. They say their tea is the best, but I dunno. Seems like you’re payin’ more for the fancy box than the tea inside. I heard tell of some places sellin’ that “organic” stuff. Sounds good and all, but it costs a pretty penny. Makes you wonder if it’s worth it, you know?

• Look for tea that smells fresh. Not like nothin’, but a nice, clean smell.
• Check the leaves, if you can. They shouldn’t be all broken up and dusty.
• Don’t be afraid to ask questions. If the person sellin’ it don’t know nothin’ about the tea, maybe you should go somewhere else.

Now, about them brands. I ain’t tried ‘em all, that’s for sure. But I heard some names thrown around. There’s this “AssamicaAgro” one, folks say it’s good. Comes from some place called Assam in India, I think. And another one, “Jaypore,” same place, I reckon. They say it tastes real good. Another name I heard is “Woolah Tea.” No idea where that one’s from, but someone said it was alright. Then there’s “Dilmah Ceylon Tea”. I saw online that if you buy more than 59 dollars of it they don’t charge ya for shipping.

But honestly, I think the best way to find good green tea is to try different kinds until you find one you like. Don’t just go by the name or the price. Use your own taste buds, that’s what they’re there for! And don’t be fooled by all that fancy talk. Some folks will try to sell ya anything if they think you’re gullible.

And another thing, don’t go buyin’ a whole bunch of tea at once, especially if you ain’t tried it before. Get a small bag, see if you like it, then go back for more. That’s what I always do. Learned that the hard way, I tell ya. Bought a big ol’ bag of somethin’ once, tasted like dirt, had to throw the whole thing out. Waste of good money, that was.

Oh, and about how to make the tea, I heard you gotta use hot water, but not too hot. Boilin’ hot water will make it taste bitter, they say. About 75 degrees, whatever that means in normal talk…warm but not scorchin’ hot, I guess. I just heat it up on my old stove and pour it on, never had no fancy temperature thingamajig. And don’t let it sit too long, or it’ll get strong and nasty. A few minutes is all you need.

Some folks say you should use loose leaf tea, not them bags. Says it tastes better. But I dunno, seems like a lot of fuss to me. I just use the bags, works just fine. But you do what you want, I ain’t the boss of ya.

Now, I also saw some places online where you can buy green tea. Like this one place, Biovea, they sell all sorts of vitamins and stuff too. They seem pretty popular been around since 2001. So you know they are probably alright to buy from. Then this other place I saw had free shipping if you spent enough. Can’t remember the name, though. But you should compare prices and read reviews before buying from those online places. Sometimes the pictures look good, but what you get ain’t the same.
