Alright, let’s talk about this here… uh… “Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum,” yeah, that’s what they call it. Fancy name, ain’t it? My granddaughter, she’s the one who got me using this stuff. Says it’s good for the face. Well, at my age, anything’s gotta be better than nothin’, right?

First off, this here bottle, it’s green. Like, really green. Reminds me of them green beans I used to grow in the garden. It’s got a little pump thingy on top. You push it down and this…serum stuff…comes out. It ain’t thick like them creams, and it ain’t watery like, well, water. It’s kinda in-between. They say you only need a little bit, two or three pumps they say. But me, I always figure more is better, so I give it four or five. Can’t hurt, can it?

Now, what’s in this stuff? They talk about “Beauty Green Tea” and some kinda “Nano-Capsulized Hyaluronic Acid.” Sounds like somethin’ from outer space, if you ask me. But my granddaughter, she says it’s all natural. Somethin’ about keepin’ the skin moist. Lord knows, my skin’s dry as a desert these days. Used to be smooth and soft, but that was a long time ago.

So, I put this stuff on my face. After I wash it, mind you. Gotta wash off all the dirt and grime first. Then I pat it on, just like my granddaughter showed me. Upwards strokes, she says. Helps keep things from saggin’. At my age, everything’s saggin’, but I figure it’s worth a try.

What it Feels Like

It feels kinda cool and wet when you first put it on. Not sticky, which is good. I hate sticky stuff. It soaks in pretty quick, too. Don’t gotta sit around waitin’ forever for it to dry. And it smells…nice. Not like them flowery perfumes that make you sneeze. Just a clean, fresh smell. Reminds me of, well, green tea, I guess. Never been much of a tea drinker myself, but it smells alright.

Now, does it work? That’s the big question, ain’t it? Well, I been usin’ it for a few weeks now, mornin’ and night. And I gotta say, my skin does feel a bit softer. Not like a baby’s bottom or nothin’, but definitely better than it was. Them wrinkles are still there, don’t you worry. This ain’t no miracle cure, you know. But my skin don’t feel so tight and dry anymore. And it looks a little bit…brighter, maybe? Hard to say for sure. I ain’t lookin’ in the mirror all day, that’s for sure.

How I Use It

  • Wash my face good.
  • Pump this serum stuff onto my fingers, four or five pumps.
  • Pat it all over my face and neck, goin’ upwards like my granddaughter said.
  • Do it in the mornin’ and at night, after washin’ and before puttin’ on any cream.

My grandaughter says they’re all about being “clean” and “eco-friendly” and they don’t go hurting no animals makin’ this stuff. That’s good, I guess. We always tried to be good to the earth, growin’ our own food and whatnot. And we never went around hurtin’ no animals for no reason. So, if this company is doin’ the same, that’s alright by me.

They also talk about “sustainable packaging.” Don’t rightly know what that means, but I guess it’s good. Less trash in the world, maybe. We always reused everything we could back in the day. Nothin’ went to waste. Times are different now, though. Folks just throw everything away.

Final Thoughts

So, would I recommend this Innisfree stuff? Well, it ain’t cheap, that’s for sure. But if you got the money to spare and you want somethin’ to make your skin feel a little less like an old leather boot, then yeah, I guess I’d say give it a try. It ain’t gonna make you young again, but it might make you feel a little bit better. And at my age, that’s all you can really ask for, ain’t it?

It’s light, not greasy, and makes the skin feel refreshed. You should use it every day, morning and night, if you want to see the best results. It helps with the dry skin and keeps your face feeling good all day. Seems like good stuff to me.
