Alright, let’s talk about this organic loose green tea, you know, the kind them fancy folks are always yappin’ about. I ain’t no expert, mind you, just an old woman who’s seen a thing or two.
Now, they say this green tea is good for ya. Keeps your heart pumpin’ right, cleans out your insides, somethin’ about “anti-oxidants” they call ’em. Sounds like a lotta hooey to me, but my neighbor, Martha, she swears by it. Says it makes her feel spry as a spring chicken, and she’s pushing eighty if she’s a day. So, maybe there’s somethin’ to it.
One thing I do know is you gotta be careful what you’re puttin’ in your body. Them city folk, they spray all sorts of chemicals on their plants. Pesticides, they call ’em. Nasty stuff, I tell ya. That’s why you want the organic kind. Means it’s grown natural-like, the way the good Lord intended. Look for that little USDA Organic sticker, that’s how you know it’s the real deal. Don’t want none of that poison in your tea, no sir.
And another thing, this loose leaf tea, that’s the good stuff. Not them little bags they sell at the store. Them bags, they got all sorts of… I don’t know, things in ‘em. The loose leaf, that’s just the leaves, nothin’ else. You gotta get yourself a little strainer thingy, but it’s worth it. The tea tastes better, fresher, like you’re drinkin’ somethin’ straight from the garden. You can find them leaves everywhere, even on that e-bay thingy my grandson talks about all the time. He says you can find almost *everything* on there.
Now, some folks say matcha is the best green tea. It’s all powdered up, looks like green dust to me. They say it’s got even more of them “anti-oxidants” in it. I tried it once, didn’t care for it much. Tasted like grass clippings, if you ask me. But hey, to each their own.
One more thing, you gotta be careful about lead in your tea. Can you believe that? Lead! They found it in some of them teas, even the good ones. So, do your research, buy from folks you trust. You don’t want to be sippin’ on poison, that’s for sure.
So, there you have it. That’s all I know about organic loose green tea. It’s good for ya, gotta get the organic kind, and loose leaf is best. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go brew myself a cup. All this talk about tea has made me thirsty.
And remember, listen to your body. If somethin’ don’t feel right, don’t drink it. Just like with food, if it smells funny, don’t eat it. Common sense, that’s what it is. And don’t go spendin’ a fortune on fancy teas. A good cup of organic loose green tea is all you need. Keeps you healthy, keeps you goin’. That’s what matters.
Now go on and find yourself some good organic loose green tea. You won’t regret it.
