green tea
Alright, let’s talk about this here body lotion white tea stuff. I ain’t no fancy expert or nothin’, but I know what I like on my skin, ya know?
First off, this lotion, it smells real nice. Not too strong, mind you, just a clean, fresh kinda smell. Like, you know, when you hang your clothes out to dry on a sunny day? Kinda like that, but with a little somethin’ extra. They call it white tea, I guess that’s what it is. Smells better than that strong perfume my niece wears, that’s for sure. Gives me a headache, that stuff does. This white tea lotion, it’s just… pleasant. Makes you feel clean and, I don’t know, kinda fancy, even if you’re just sittin’ around in your old housecoat.
Now, about the feelin’ of it. This ain’t no greasy mess, let me tell ya. I hate that sticky feeling, makes you wanna wash it right off. This lotion, it soaks right in, leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. Like a baby’s bottom, they say. Well, maybe not that soft, I’m old, ain’t nothin’ gonna make me feel like a baby again! But it does make my skin feel a whole lot better. Especially in the winter, when everything gets dry and crackly. You know, your hands get so rough they catch on your clothes? This stuff helps with that. Keeps your skin from feelin’ like sandpaper.
I’ve tried a bunch of different lotions over the years. Some are too watery, some are too thick, some smell like a grandma’s perfume, and not in a good way. This white tea body lotion, it’s just right, you know? It’s like Goldilocks and the three bears, this one’s just perfect. Not too hot, not too cold, just right.
I use it all over. After my shower, I put it on my arms, my legs, my feet, even my neck. Sometimes I put a little extra on my hands before I go to bed. Helps them feel better in the mornin’. My husband, he even uses it sometimes, though he won’t admit it. Says it’s too girly, but I see him sneakin’ it when he thinks I ain’t lookin’. Men get dry skin too, ya know, even if they don’t wanna talk about it.
And it lasts a good long time too. You don’t need to slather it on thick. A little bit goes a long way. That bottle I bought last month, still got plenty left. That’s important, ya know, money don’t grow on trees. I ain’t made of money, gotta make things last.
I saw some different kinds at the store the other day. Some with lilac and white tea, some with ginger, even one with coconut. I stuck with the plain white tea, though. Don’t wanna mess with a good thing, you know? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, that’s what I always say. But maybe I’ll try that coconut one next time, if it’s on sale. Coconut smells nice, too.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a good lotion, somethin’ that smells nice and makes your skin soft, I’d say give this white tea body lotion a try. It ain’t gonna make you younger, but it’ll make you feel a whole lot better. And that’s somethin’, ain’t it?
Where to find it? Well, I got mine at the drugstore, but I reckon you can find it at most stores that sell that kind of stuff. Just look for the bottles that say white tea body lotion. Can’t miss it.
And that’s all I gotta say about that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper.
