Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this white tea and green tea, you know? Folks these days, they always talkin’ ’bout fancy stuff, but back in my day, we just drank whatever was hot and wet, ha!
Is White Tea Better Than Green Tea? I ain’t no scientist or nothin’, but I heard some things, ya know? They say white tea is made from the tippy-top parts of the tea plant, the little buds, I guess. They dry ’em right out in the sun, then bring ’em inside to finish up. That’s why it stays kinda whitish, they say. Less fussin’ around with it, ya see.
Now, green tea, they do a bit more to it, steamin’ or fryin’ it or somethin’ before dryin’. Makes it green, I reckon. But both of ’em, they say they’re good for ya.
Some folks are all worked up about keepin’ their teeth white. Well, they say white tea won’t stain your teeth as much. Not that green tea’s gonna make your teeth all black, but white tea’s a bit gentler, I hear. Though, mind you, they said teeth gettin’ a little yellow ain’t the end of the world, eh? We all get old, things change.
So, which one’s better? Well, that’s like askin’ if sunshine or rain is better. Depends on what you need, I guess. Want somethin’ gentle on your teeth and loaded with those “anti-somethin’s”? White tea might be your cup of tea, ha! Want somethin’ to help you drop a few pounds and keep your brain workin’? Maybe go for green. And both of them are good for reducing the risk of gettin’ them big sicknesses like cancer.
Me? I just drink what tastes good. And sometimes, a good cuppa is just a good cuppa, no matter what color it is. They also said Black, white and green tea are good for morning drinking. That would keep your whole day energetic. But don’t drink too much before you sleep. You know, can’t close your eyes at night is not good for health.
And don’t forget, drinkin’ tea ain’t gonna solve all your problems. Ya still gotta eat your vegetables and get some sunshine, you know? Just like my old mammy used to say, “Everything in moderation, even tea!”
At the end of the day, drinkin’ tea is about enjoyin’ a warm drink, maybe sittin’ on the porch, watchin’ the world go by. Don’t get too caught up in all the fancy talk, ya know? Just find what ya like and enjoy it. That’s what I say.
