- Love Black Tea? You Gotta Try Pure Leaf Black Tea

Alright, let’s talk about this Pure Leaf Black Tea, you know, the kind they sell in them bottles. I ain’t no fancy tea expert or nothin’, but I know what I like, and I reckon I can tell you a thing or two about it.
First off, they say it’s “real brewed,” which I guess means they actually use tea leaves, not that powdered stuff. That’s good, I reckon. I always say, the real stuff is better, just like them home-grown tomatoes compared to them store-bought ones. This tea, it’s got a good strong taste, not weak and watery like some I’ve tried. It’s kinda like when you make sun tea out on the porch, you know? Strong and flavorful.
Now, they got all sorts of flavors, they say. English Breakfast, Earl Grey, and even that fancy “Keemun” stuff. Never heard of it, but sounds highfalutin, don’t it? I mostly stick to the plain black tea, the one that tastes like, well, tea. But I did try that Earl Grey once. Had a kinda funny smell to it, like flowers or somethin’. Not my cup of tea, if you catch my drift.
I heard some folks talkin’ about other black teas, like that Assam and Darjeeling stuff. Sounded mighty foreign to me. I ain’t tried ’em, but I reckon they’re probably good too. Tea is tea, after all, ain’t it? Long as it’s brewed right and tastes good, that’s all that matters.
This Pure Leaf tea, it comes in a bottle, which is convenient, I suppose. But nothin’ beats a good hot cup of tea in a mug, you know? Specially on a cold day. But for when you’re on the go, or just don’t feel like brewin’ your own, this bottled stuff ain’t half bad.
And speaking of brewin’, they say this here tea is from real tea leaves. I heard tell of them Yunnan black teas, the ones that are kinda golden and sweet. I ain’t sure if Pure Leaf uses them, but this tea does have a nice, smooth taste, not bitter or nothin’. It’s kinda like… well, it’s just good, plain tea. Nothin’ fancy, but good.
They say Pure Leaf is made by Pepsi and Lipton. Now, I ain’t never been one for soda pop, but Lipton, they know tea. So, I guess that’s a good sign. At least they ain’t some fly-by-night company tryin’ to sell us somethin’ that ain’t worth a dime.
They also say somethin’ about it being gluten-free. Now, I ain’t got no problem with gluten, far as I know. But I guess it’s good for folks who do. More and more people seem to be havin’ trouble with that stuff these days. It’s a wonder we ain’t all dead from eatin’ the wrong things!
So, all in all, this Pure Leaf Black Tea is alright in my book. It’s strong, it’s tasty, and it’s made with real tea leaves. It ain’t got no sugar or funny stuff in it, and it’s got enough caffeine to keep you goin’. It ain’t the same as a freshly brewed cup, but it’ll do in a pinch. And that’s all there is to it, I reckon. If you like black tea, give it a try. If you don’t, well, more for me!
And they stopped makin’ that mint tea, I heard. Shame, some folks liked it. But I never cared for it myself. Just give me the plain black tea, and I’m happy.
