organic tea
Alright, let’s gab about this here earl grey black tea. I ain’t no fancy pants expert, but I know what I likes, ya know? And this tea, well, it’s somethin’ special.
First off, they say it’s made from the same stuff as regular black tea. You know, that Camellia Sinensis plant. Sounds all highfalutin, don’t it? But it’s just a plant, like the ones growin’ in my backyard, only different, I reckon. Anyways, they do somethin’ special to it to make it earl grey. That’s where this here bergamot comes in.
Bergamot, they say, is a kinda citrus fruit. Now, I ain’t never seen one growin’ round here, but it sure smells nice. They put the oil from this bergamot fruit into the black tea, and that’s what gives it that special taste. It’s kinda flowery, kinda citrusy, but not too much of either. Just right, if you ask me.
I heard tell this tea was named after some fancy fella, Earl Grey, way back when. He was a British fella, a big shot, they say. And he liked this tea so much, they named it after him. Imagine that! Gettin’ a whole tea named after ya. Must’ve been some kinda important.
Now, there’s all sorts of brands of this earl grey tea out there. Some are cheap, some are expensive. I seen some that cost a pretty penny, but I reckon the cheaper ones taste just fine. I mean, tea is tea, right? As long as it tastes good and warms you up, that’s all that matters.
And speaking of warmin’ up, this tea is perfect for a cold day. You know, when the wind’s howlin’ and the snow’s comin’ down, a nice hot cup of earl grey just hits the spot. It warms you right up from the inside out. And that smell, that bergamot smell, it just makes you feel all cozy and comfortable.
But you don’t just gotta drink it hot. I hear some folks drink it iced too. Never tried it myself, but I reckon it’d be right refreshing on a hot summer day. Maybe I’ll give that a whirl when the weather warms up.
I also seen these teas with fancy labels talkin’ about “Rainforest Alliance”. Sounds like they’re tryin’ to do good for the world, makin’ sure things grow right and folks get paid fair. That’s a good thing, I reckon. I always say, do right by the land and it’ll do right by you.
So, there you have it. My two cents on earl grey black tea. It ain’t nothin’ fancy, but it’s good, honest tea. It warms you up, tastes good, and might even be good for ya. What more could ya ask for? Give it a try, I reckon you’ll like it.
One last thing, you know, you can find this tea everywhere. Big stores, little stores, even online. And it don’t cost a fortune, unless you want the real fancy stuff. But like I said, the regular stuff is good enough for me. So go on, get yourself some earl grey black tea and enjoy a nice cuppa. You deserve it.
