fruit tea
Well, let me tell ya somethin’ ’bout this white tea, you know, the kinda stuff them fancy folks drink. I heard some folks sayin’ it don’t got no caffeine, but that ain’t quite right, ya see. It’s got some, just not as much as that black tea, the strong stuff that keeps ya up all night.
Now, I ain’t no scientist or nothin’, but I reckon it’s like this: black tea’s like a strong cup of coffee, gets ya goin’ real fast. Green tea, that’s a bit milder, like a gentle nudge in the mornin’. And white tea? Well, that’s more like a whisper, a little somethin’ to perk ya up without makin’ ya jittery.
They say white tea’s got all sorts of fancy things in it, makes ya healthy and whatnot. I don’t know about all that, but I do know it tastes kinda nice, light and airy, not bitter like that black stuff. And it don’t make my heart race like that coffee does neither.
Some folks say the amount of that caffeine stuff in white tea depends on how ya make it. If you use real hot water and let it sit for a long time, then it’s gonna be stronger, you know? Like makin’ soup, the longer it simmers, the stronger the flavor gets. But if ya use cooler water and just let it steep for a bit, it won’t be so strong. Makes sense, I guess.
I heard tell that white tea can have anywhere from a little bit to a fair amount of caffeine, somewhere between 5 and 55 whatchamacallits…milligrams, I think they call ’em. That ain’t as much as coffee, which they say has a whole lot more, maybe 40% more. So if coffee’s like a shout, white tea’s more like a murmur.
Now, some folks get all worked up about caffeine, say it makes ’em nervous and can’t sleep. If you’re one of them, then maybe ya gotta be careful with white tea, especially if ya drink a whole bunch of it. But for most folks, I reckon it ain’t nothin’ to worry about. It’s just a little somethin’ to get ya goin’, nothin’ more.
I like to drink a cup in the afternoon, when I’m feelin’ a bit sluggish. It gives me a little boost without makin’ me all jumpy. It’s kinda like a gentle pick-me-up. And it tastes good too, which is more than I can say for some of that other stuff they try to sell ya.
So, is white tea high in caffeine? Well, I wouldn’t say high, not like that black tea or coffee. It’s got some, sure, but not a whole lot. It’s just enough to give ya a little lift, you know? And that’s good enough for me. I think it’s kinda perfect for folks who just need a little bit of pep in their step and not a big jolt.
And let me tell ya, don’t go believin’ everything ya hear. Just because somethin’ is light and delicate don’t mean it’s weak. White tea’s got its own kinda strength, a quiet strength. It’s like a gentle rain, soakin’ into the ground, nourishin’ the plants. It ain’t flashy, but it gets the job done.
So there ya have it, my two cents on this white tea business. It ain’t gonna keep ya up all night, but it might just give ya a little somethin’ to get through the day. And that, I reckon, ain’t a bad thing at all.
Anyways, that’s all I gotta say ’bout that. Ya’ll take care now, ya hear?
