organic tea
Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this lemon tea and green tea, alright? Folks keep talkin’ about ’em, so I figured I’d spill the beans, the way I see it.
First off, this lemon tea, it’s kinda sour, you know? But it’s got that thing they call Vitamin C, real good for keepin’ you from catchin’ a cold. My old man, he used to say, “A lemon a day keeps the doctor away,” or somethin’ like that. He wasn’t the brightest bulb, but he had his moments. Anyway, lemon tea, it kinda wakes you up too. Good for when you gotta get up early and feed them chickens.
Now, this green tea, that’s a whole different story. It ain’t got that sour kick, more like…earthy, I guess. They say it’s got them “anti-somethin’,” things that keep your insides clean. Like washin’ dishes, but for your body. I don’t know about all that fancy talk, but it makes me feel… lighter, you know? Less like a sack of potatoes.
Now, some folks, they mix the two. Lemon and green tea together. Sounds kinda crazy, but I tried it once. It ain’t bad. The sourness of the lemon, it kinda cuts through that earthy taste of the green tea. And you get the best of both worlds, I reckon. Keeps you from gettin’ sick and cleans you out. Win-win, like they say.
But lemme tell ya, drinkin’ too much of this stuff, it ain’t always good. Too much lemon, it can give you a tummy ache. And too much green tea, well, it can make you jittery, like a cat on a hot tin roof. Everything in moderation, that’s what my grandma used to say. She was a wise old bird, that one.
And don’t go thinkin’ this stuff is gonna make you young again. It ain’t no magic potion. You still gotta eat your vegetables, get some sunshine, and move around a bit. But a cup of this tea, lemon or green or both, it’s a nice little somethin’ to add to your day. Makes you feel… I don’t know… healthier, maybe? Or at least like you’re doin’ somethin’ good for yourself. And that’s gotta count for somethin’, right?
Speaking of healthy, they say both of these teas can help you with your weight. Now, I ain’t no spring chicken, and I’ve had my share of good eatin’, so I carry a little extra weight, you know? But they say lemon helps your body burn fat, and green tea speeds up your insides. So, maybe if you drink enough of it, you can fit into them old jeans you been keepin’ in the closet. Worth a try, I guess. Though I ain’t holdin’ my breath.
Oh, and another thing. You can drink this stuff even when you ain’t eatin’. Like in the mornin’, before you have breakfast, or in the afternoon, when you’re feelin’ a little sluggish. Some fancy folks call it “inter-somethin’ fastin’,” but I just call it havin’ a cup of tea. It gives you a little boost, without fillin’ you up. Good for when you’re tryin’ to watch what you eat.
So, there you have it. My two cents on lemon tea and green tea. It ain’t rocket science, just plain common sense. Drink it if you like it, don’t drink it if you don’t. But don’t go expectin’ miracles. Life’s too short for that kind of nonsense. Just enjoy your cup of tea, and get on with your day. That’s what I always say.
But remember, if you feel bad after drinking it, stop drinking it. It ain’t worth feeling sick over a cup of tea. There’s plenty of other things to drink in this world. Water’s good, milk’s good, even a little bit of coffee now and then. Just listen to your body, it’ll tell you what it needs.
