white tea
Well, howdy there! Let me tell ya ’bout this Phoenix Oolong tea. I ain’t no fancy tea expert, but I know what tastes good, ya hear?
What is this Phoenix Oolong, anyhow?
Folks say it’s a real old-timey tea, been around since way back when, like them Ming Dynasty folks were drinkin’ it. It comes from a place called Phoenix Mountain, in some county over in China. Sounds fancy, but it’s just tea, mind you. They say it’s been made the same way for ages, “the old fashioned way” they call it. I reckon that means they ain’t usin’ no fancy machines or nothin’.
Now, what’s it taste like?
This here tea, it ain’t like that plain ol’ Lipton stuff. It’s got a warm feelin’ to it, kinda like a cozy blanket on a cold night. And it’s a bit sweet, but not too sweet, ya know? And then there’s this spiciness to it, like somethin’ you’d put in a pie, but not as strong. It’s a whole mix of flavors, they say. Some folks taste flowers, some taste vegetables, and some even taste somethin’ like dark chocolate! Can you believe that? Chocolate in tea! I ain’t tasted no chocolate myself, but it’s got a powerful taste, that’s for sure. They say one leaf can have all sorts of colors, green, yellow, red, black, and that’s why it tastes so different. And they say it’s got more than a hundred different smells, I ain’t smelled that many smells in my whole life!
Why should you try it?
Well, I ain’t gonna tell you what to do, but this tea, it’s somethin’ special. It ain’t just somethin’ you gulp down to wake up in the mornin’. It’s somethin’ you savor, somethin’ you enjoy. It’s kinda like sittin’ on the porch swing on a summer evenin’, just relaxin’ and lettin’ your worries drift away. It warms ya up inside and makes ya feel good all over. And if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ different, somethin’ with a bit of kick to it, then this here Phoenix Oolong might just be the ticket.
Where do you get it?
Now, I ain’t no storekeeper, but I hear tell you can find it just about anywhere. Them fancy tea shops, they probably got it. And I even seen it on that eBay thingamajig, they got all sorts of stuff on there. Just search for “Phoenix Oolong” and you’ll find it, easy peasy.
Last words
So, there you have it. That’s what I know about Phoenix Oolong tea. It ain’t much, but it’s honest. If you’re lookin’ for a tasty tea with a bit of history and a whole lot of flavor, give this one a try. You might just like it. And if you don’t, well, more for me, I reckon!
A little bit more about the tea
This Phoenix oolong tea, it’s warm and spicy, not like them peppers hanging in the kitchen but just enough to make you feel it. And that sweet and mellow taste, it’s like a warm hug on a cold day. It’s a special tea, been around for ages from a place called Phoenix Mountain. They say its been made the same way for a long time. It’s got lots of different flavors and smells, way more than I can count. And you can find it on eBay and other places, easy enough.
So, go on, try some. You might just find yourself a new favorite tea.
