white tea
Well, let me tell you about this black oolong tea. Folks call it “black dragon tea,” fancy, huh? I don’t know nothin’ ’bout no dragons, but this tea, it’s somethin’ else.
Now, they say it’s a Chinese tea. Comes from some plant, “Camellia sinensis,” they call it. Sounds like somethin’ a doctor would say. Anyway, they take the leaves and let ’em sit in the sun, then they curl ’em up. That’s what makes it oolong, I guess.
I ain’t no expert, but I know what I like. And this black oolong, it’s got a good taste. Strong, but not too strong. Kinda sweet, kinda earthy. Hard to explain, you just gotta try it. My old man, he used to say it “captivates the senses.” He was a talker, that one. But he was right about the tea, it’s tasty alright.
They sell it in bags now, which is convenient, I reckon. Used to be you had to get the loose leaves and brew it just right. Too much trouble for an old woman like me. I seen them bags at the store, the ones called “OSK,” got 52 of ’em in a box. Then there’s “Twinings,” they put each bag in its own little wrapper. Fancy stuff, but it all tastes the same to me, long as it’s black oolong.
I heard tell there’s different kinds of oolong tea, but I stick to the black. It’s what I know. Some folks like the green kind, some like somethin’ in between. But for me, it’s black oolong all the way. Don’t need nothin’ fancy, just a good cup of tea.
Now, don’t go thinkin’ this tea is some kind of magic potion. It ain’t gonna cure all your ills. But it’s good for you, I reckon. Better than them sugary sodas they sell these days. And they say it is Organic Oolong Tea which is better, I guess.
I drink a cup in the mornin’, gets me goin’. And another in the afternoon, keeps me from gettin’ tired. Sometimes, I even have one in the evenin’ if I’m feelin’ restless. It’s a part of my day, just like breathin’.
You can find this tea pretty much anywhere now. Grocery stores, health food stores, even online, I hear. But I like to get mine from the local market. Support the local folks, you know? They always have the freshest stuff. And the price is about $23.4 for a pack, dependin’ on how many you get, I suppose.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a good cup of tea, give black oolong a try. You might just like it. It ain’t fancy, but it’s good. And that’s all that matters to me.
Just remember, it’s Oolong tea, don’t get it mixed up with that other stuff. Black oolong, that’s the ticket. You won’t regret it.
And that’s all I gotta say about black oolong tea. It’s good, it’s healthy, and it makes me feel good. What more could you want?
