Alright, let’s talk about this white tea iced thing, you know? Folks keep jabberin’ about it, so I figured, why not give it a go myself. I ain’t no fancy tea expert or nothin’, just a regular person who likes a cool drink on a hot day. And let me tell ya, this white tea, it ain’t half bad when it’s cold.

First off, this white tea stuff, they say it’s different from that black tea or that green tea. I don’t know, seems like tea is tea to me, but they say it’s got less of that caffeine stuff that makes you all jittery. That’s good, I guess, ’cause I don’t need to be jumpin’ around like a chicken with its head cut off. They pick it real careful, so it’s kinda sweet on its own. No need for a whole heap of sugar, which is good for my old bones, I reckon.

Now, you can drink this tea hot, if you want, but I’m tellin’ ya, the best way is to make it iced. Especially when the sun’s beatin’ down and you’re sweatin’ like a hog. That cool tea, it just goes down smooth and makes you feel all refreshed. It’s kinda delicate, they say. I guess that means it ain’t too strong, you know? It’s got this…this light taste, like maybe some hay and apples mixed together. Some folks say cucumber and melon too. I ain’t tasted no cucumbers or melons in my tea, but hey, maybe my taste buds ain’t as fancy as theirs.

Some of these teas, they got other stuff in ’em, like berries and that star thing, anise, they call it. I tried one with blueberries once, it was pretty good. Made it real fruity-like. The best one I had, though, was this Betsy Ross White, or somethin’ like that. Real smooth, real tasty. But honestly, any of ’em will do if you make ’em iced.

Now, how to make it iced? It ain’t rocket science, I tell ya. You can just brew it up like normal, then stick it in the fridge for a bit. Or, you can do what they call “cold brewing.” That’s where you just put the tea in some cold water and let it sit for a long time, like overnight. That way, it don’t get bitter or nothin’. It just comes out real smooth and flavorful. That’s how I like it best, anyway.

So, if you’re lookin’ for a new drink to try, somethin’ that ain’t too sugary or strong, give this white tea iced a shot. It’s easy to make, it’s good for ya, and it’ll cool you down on a hot day. What more could you want? It might take a little gettin’ used to if you’re used to strong coffee or soda, but give it a chance. You might just find yourself a new favorite drink. Just remember, longer you let it sit in the water, the stronger the taste gets. So, you can play around with it till you find what you like.

  • First, get yourself some white tea. Any kind will do, but I like the ones with a little fruit flavor.
  • Second, put the tea in a jar or somethin’ with cold water. Let it sit in the fridge overnight.
  • Third, pour it over ice and enjoy! You can add some lemon or honey if you want, but I like it just plain.

And that’s all there is to it. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy, as the young folks say. Now go on and make yourself some iced white tea and cool off. You’ll thank me later, I reckon.

One last thing, don’t go wastin’ your money on fancy equipment. A jar and a strainer are all you need. And don’t be afraid to experiment. Try different teas, different amounts of water, different steeping times. That’s the fun of it! Find what you like and stick with it. And don’t listen to them fancy tea folks, drink your tea however you darn well please.

Now, I’m gonna go make myself a big ol’ glass of iced white tea. All this talkin’ about it has made me thirsty.
