This Ito En green tea, oh, it’s somethin’ else. My grandbaby brought it over one time, said it was good for me. Said it was from Japan, land of them tiny cars and such. I don’t know much ’bout that, but I do know this tea is mighty fine.

Ito En, that’s the name, like some fancy feller. They make this tea, all kinds of it. They got it in bottles, they got it in bags. They say it’s the best green tea in Japan, and, well, I reckon they might be right.

Now, I ain’t no tea expert, but I’ve been drinkin’ it my whole life. My mama used to make it for us when we were little, said it would keep the sickness away. This Ito En green tea, it’s got a nice, clean taste. Ain’t bitter like some of them other ones.

They got this other kind, Oi Ocha. They say it is also green tea. Well, I reckon if Ito En makes it, it must be good, too. This Ito En sure does know their tea. I see lots of folks drinkin’ it now. Even my neighbor, old Mrs. Henderson, she started drinkin’ it. Said her doctor told her to.

This Itoen green tea, they say it is organic too. They say organic is good. It is very important. It means they don’t use them nasty chemicals on the plants. Just good, clean dirt and sunshine. That’s how it should be, I reckon. Just like my mama used to say, “If it ain’t natural, it ain’t good.”

You can find this Ito En green tea in stores, too, not just on the computer. I seen it at the grocery store, right next to the regular tea. It’s a little more expensive, but I reckon it’s worth it. You get what you pay for, as they say.

My grandbaby, she showed me how to brew it proper, this Ito En green tea. You gotta use hot water, but not too hot. And you don’t leave the bag in too long, or it gets bitter. Just a few minutes, she said. Then you can add a little honey if you like, or just drink it plain.

I like to drink it in the mornings, with my breakfast. Gets me goin’ for the day. And sometimes I have a cup in the afternoon, when I’m feelin’ tired. It’s better than coffee, I think. Don’t give you the jitters. I think the Ito En green tea price is good.
