That Chinese black tea, oh boy, it’s somethin’ else! Ain’t like that green tea, no sir. This here tea, it’s got that dark color, you see? They call it “red tea” sometimes, but I just call it black tea, like my old man used to. It’s strong, that’s for sure. Stronger than that oolong or white tea, those are too light for my taste.

This Chinese black tea, it wakes you right up in the mornin’. Better than any rooster crowing, I tell ya! Just a little cup, and you’re ready to go work in the fields, or tend to the chickens, or whatever it is you gotta do. That’s how we do things here in China, drink tea all day long.

Folks in other places, like India, they drink tea too. But their tea, it ain’t the same as this Chinese black tea. They put milk and sugar in it. We don’t do that here. We drink it straight. It’s strong enough on its own, don’t need no milk or sugar. This tea stands on its own two feet, just like a good, strong Chinese person!

This Chinese black tea, you steep it too long it might get a little bitter. But not too much bitter, just a little stronger. That Indian tea, you steep that too long, it is no good. This Chinese tea is different, it is better. We know how to make good tea in China.
