ginger tea
This year, my grandson, he’s always on that internet, showed me something called personalized tea bags. I said, what in tarnation is that? He told me you can get tea bags with your own words and pictures on ’em. Well, ain’t that somethin’? I never heard of such a thing! You can make custom tea bags now.
Back in my day, we just had plain old tea bags. Lipton, mostly. Or we just used loose leaves. We didn’t have all these fancy options. But I guess times are changin’. Now you can get these personalized tea bags for all sorts of things. Like a wedding, my neighbor’s daughter got married last year. They gave those tea bags out. I think those are good for wedding, or birthday. Those tea bags can make people happy. These things are really popular now.
You can put anything you want on ’em, he said. Names, dates, little pictures. Even your own face, if you’re so inclined. I can’t imagine puttin’ my face on a tea bag, but I guess some folks might like that. Maybe for a joke. But I saw some with pretty flowers and such. Those are nice. And some with people’s names on ’em. Like “Mary’s Tea” or “John’s Brew.” That’s kinda cute, I reckon.
My grandson, he said they’re good for businesses, too. Like if you got a little shop or somethin’. You can put your shop’s name on the tea bags and give ’em out to customers. That’s a good idea. Better than them little mints some places give you. At least tea is somethin’ useful. I don’t need more mints, but I can always use tea. I drink tea every day, all day long. My grandson said that is a good way for marketing. I don’t know what is marketing, but it sounds good.
He showed me some websites where you can order ’em. Lots of choices. Different kinds of tea, too. Black tea, green tea, herbal tea. Even that vanilla chai, that is what my granddaughter likes. You can choose the tea and the design and how many you want. It’s all done on the computer. Ain’t that somethin’? Technology these days.
They are not cheap. But I guess nothin’ is these days. But for a special occasion, maybe it’s worth it. Like a wedding or a big party. Or if you got a business and you wanna do somethin’ special for your customers. Or you just want some tea with your name on it. Why not, I guess? I think that is not a bad idea. I may ask my grandson to order some for me.
I still like my regular tea just fine. But these personalized tea bags, they got me thinkin’. It is a good gift, I think. Maybe I’ll get some for my friends at the church. Or for my neighbor’s birthday. It’s somethin’ different. Somethin’ special. And who doesn’t like a nice cup of tea?
I asked my grandson if those tea bags are good to drink. He said those tea bags are made of plastic, nylon or paper. I don’t like plastic. Plastic is not good. He said those tea bags contain chemicals, when you put them in hot water, they will go into your body. He told me it is better to drink tea made of loose leaves. I agree with him. But he said some tea bags are made of good material. You can ask them when you order. He also said Celestial Seasonings is a good brand. Their tea bags don’t have strings, staples. That is good.
Here’s what I learned about these personalized tea bags:
So, that’s the story of personalized tea bags. I never thought I’d see the day when you could put your name on a tea bag. But here we are. It’s a crazy world. But a little bit of crazy can be fun sometimes. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go make myself a cup of tea. The regular kind, for now. But maybe one day, I’ll have my own special tea bags. Who knows? These personalized tea bags are really popular now.
My grandson also said if you want to know more about those tea bags, you can search on the internet. He said you should search “custom tea bags”, “tea wedding favors” and “tea for marketing”. He said those words are good for searching. You can find a lot of information on the internet. I don’t know much about the internet. But I trust my grandson. He knows a lot. I think you can try.
