You can find this tea bag paper in most any store these days. Even the little corner store down the road probably has it. Or you can get it online, I suppose. But I ain’t one for that computer stuff. I like to see what I’m buying before I buy it.

They even sell these tea bags empty, you know? Just the paper bags, all folded up and ready to fill. That way you can put whatever kind of tea you want in ’em. Loose leaf tea, or that fancy flavored stuff. Whatever floats your boat.

Using Tea Bag Paper

It ain’t rocket science, using these things. Just open up the bag, scoop in your tea, and close it up. Some of ’em have a little drawstring you can pull to cinch it shut. Others, you just fold over the top a few times.

Then you just dunk it in your hot water and let it steep. How long you steep it depends on the kind of tea you’re using and how strong you like it. I like mine good and strong, so I let it steep for a while.

When it’s done, you just pull the bag out and toss it. Or, like I said, keep it for another round. Don’t waste it. Some folks even use the old tea bags for compost. Good for the garden, they say. I use them in my garden, my tomatoes are really big this year!
