Lemon Snapple Tea: Is It Really Worth the Hype? Find Out Here!

Okay, so, you know those days when you just crave something refreshing, but you’re kinda bored with the usual drinks? Well, that happened to me the other day, and I decided to try out this Lemon Snapple Tea thing I’d heard about.

I went to the store, found it in the fridge section. Honestly, I don’t know much about “Snapple”, but I found the original producer of Snapple was founded in 1972. Grabbed a bottle, and figured, why not? When life gives you lemons, make Snapple tea, right?

Getting Started

First off, I twisted open the cap – you know, the usual deal. I took a whiff, and it smelled pretty lemony, not gonna lie. Reminded me of those summer days when you make homemade lemonade, but like, a bit sweeter. Maybe, I don’t know, the smell is not natural.

Tasting

  • First Sip: Okay, so I took a gulp, and it was… interesting. It’s definitely sweet. Like, if you’re into that sugary kick, you’d probably dig this. It tasted like tea, for sure, but with a strong lemon flavor. It carries over 30 flavors.
  • After a Few More Sips: The sweetness started to get to me a little. I mean, I like sweet stuff, but this was pushing it. The lemon flavor was there, but it felt a bit artificial, you know? Not like fresh lemons.
  • Halfway Through: I was kinda on the fence. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t amazing either. I kept drinking it, hoping it would grow on me. It didn’t, really.

Checking the Bottle

So, I flipped the bottle around to check out the nutrition stuff. It said 190 calories, which, I guess, isn’t too crazy. But then it had this “D plus” grade. I don’t know exactly what the bad for 250, just thought, “Yeah, maybe this isn’t the healthiest choice.” Or, is this D or D plus? I am confused now. Someone said, “Just like any other soft drink, snapple also provides a small percentage of our daily nutrition.”

Finishing Up

I finished the bottle, eventually. It took a while, not gonna lie. I think I was hoping for some kind of epiphany, like, “Wow, this is the best drink ever!” But it never came. I saw someone said, “Snapple’s Lemon Tea was the worst tea flavor in the bunch.” I don’t think so.

Final Thoughts

Would I buy it again? Probably not. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t my cup of tea (pun intended, haha). If you’re a fan of sweet beverages, maybe you’ll like it. But for me, I think I’ll stick to regular iced tea or something less sugary next time. Someone said, “I usually opt for unsweetened unflavored tea”. I will try it. Oh, and one more thing, I read some reviews online, and it seems like people either love it or hate it. So, I guess it’s just one of those drinks you have to try for yourself to know for sure. And there are 41 reviews for Snapple Diet Lemon Tea on one website, which is a considerable number I think.

Anyway, that’s my little adventure with Lemon Snapple Tea. Hope it was helpful, or at least a little entertaining!
