Okay, here is my sharing about making a green tea fragrance:

So, I’ve been messing around with different scents lately, you know, trying to come up with something unique. And I stumbled upon this idea of making a green tea fragrance. It sounded kinda cool and refreshing, so I thought, why not give it a shot?

First things first, I started digging around for info on what green tea actually smells like. Turns out, it’s got this clean, natural vibe to it. Some folks say it’s kinda like grass or veggies. For me, It also feels very relaxing. And the taste? Super unique! There’s nothing quite like it, but you might catch hints of hay or leafy greens when you’re sipping it. Some famous brands also have their green tea fragrance product.

Armed with this newfound knowledge, I started gathering my ingredients. I picked up some green tea extract, of course. But the extract alone is not enough to make a good green tea fragrance. I tried, but it turned out just too weak. Also, you have to understand it is actually very hard to get a perfect strong green tea scent.

Then, I experimented with mixing it. I tried all sorts of combinations, playing around with different ratios until I found a balance that I liked. It was a lot of trial and error, but hey, that’s half the fun, right?

  • First attempt: green tea extract and alcohol. I put them together in a bottle, but the outcome was not quite satisfying. The green tea scent is just too weak.
  • Second attempt: green tea extract and essential oil. This time I add the lemon essential oil. And it turned out to be a better scent, but it is not a good green tea scent. It is more like a lemon scent.
  • Third attempt: I used a ready-made green tea fragrance this time. I know, I know, it is not quite “homemade”, but this is a better starting point. And then I started to add some other essential oil to mix with it.
  • Success: After trying for so many times, I think I have found a good combination. I used the green tea fragrance, and then I added a little bit of mint essential oil and lavender essential oil. They mixed together and formed a great balance. You have a very refreshing and relaxing green tea scent.

Finally, after all the testing and tweaking, I think I’ve got a green tea fragrance that I can confidently share. It’s light, it’s refreshing, and it’s got that unique green tea vibe that I was going for. Plus, it’s not too overpowering, which is a big win in my book.

And, if you want to try something different, you can also check out some famous perfume brand’s green tea products. One of them is called “Eau Parfume Au Th Vert” by Bvlgari, you know, the Italian brand.

Overall, it was a fun little project. And who knows, maybe I’ll start experimenting with other scents too. The possibilities are endless, right? It’s a great journey for me, and I learned a lot from the failure. If you have similar hobbies, I strongly recommend you to try and make your own product.
