Okay, so today I wanna talk about this green tea salt thing I’ve been messing around with. I saw it mentioned somewhere online, thought it sounded kinda cool, so I figured, why not give it a shot? I mean, who doesn’t love trying new things in the kitchen, right?
First off, I started by grabbing some green tea. Now, I’m no tea expert, but I had some matcha powder lying around from that time I tried to get into the whole matcha latte craze. Figured that would work just fine. Then, I needed some salt. Regular table salt seemed too boring, so I went with some fancy sea salt I had. Felt more, you know, gourmet.
The actual making part was pretty simple. I basically just mixed the matcha powder and the sea salt together. I didn’t really measure anything, just eyeballed it until the color looked right. It ended up being this really pretty pale green. I put it in a little jar I had, and that was it. Done. Green tea salt.
Honestly, I’m pretty stoked about how this turned out. It was super easy to make, and it actually tastes good. Plus, it makes me feel like a real fancy chef, even though I’m just some dude messing around in his kitchen. So, if you’re looking for a new way to spice up your food, you should totally give this green tea salt thing a try. You might be surprised.
I haven’t tried many of those store-bought versions, I’m more into this DIY stuff, feels more rewarding, you know? Plus, I get to control exactly what goes into it. No weird additives or anything like that. I might experiment with different types of tea later on, see how that changes the flavor. But for now, I’m pretty happy with this matcha version. It’s a keeper.
If you do try this, let me know how it goes! I’m always down to hear about other people’s kitchen experiments. Maybe we can even swap some recipes or something. Alright, that’s all for now. Later!
