Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “green tea thailand” thing all over the internet and I got curious. Figured I’d give it a shot and see what the hype is all about. I did some quick research and found out it’s also called “cha xanh” in Thai and comes from Northern Thailand. This sounded interesting because I love to drink tea, so I decided to try it.
First, I went online and searched for places to buy it. There’s this project called “Cha Siam Organic Tea Project” which seems like a good place to get high-quality tea. I ordered some from there, and it arrived in a few days. It looked super fresh and green, totally different from the usual black tea I drink.
Next, I followed the instructions on the package to brew it. You gotta use hot water, but not boiling, to keep that nice green color and the sweet flavor. I heated up some water, poured it over the tea leaves, and let it steep for a couple of minutes. The smell was amazing—kinda grassy and sweet at the same time.
After steeping, I poured the tea into a glass. I was surprised by the color. Man, it was bright green! I took a sip, and wow, it was different from what I am used to. It tasted kinda sweet, a bit grassy, and super refreshing. It didn’t need any sugar or milk, it was perfect on its own. I drank the whole cup and felt so relaxed afterward. I tried adding ice on the next cup and it became a very refreshing drink on a hot day.
Since then, I’ve been drinking this green tea almost every day. It’s a nice change from my usual routine, and it makes me feel good. Plus, I read that it’s got a lot of health benefits, so that’s a bonus. If you’re into tea, you should definitely try this Thai green tea. It’s a whole new experience.
