Okay, let’s talk about this Bigelow Green Tea with Pomegranate. I saw it at Target the other day and thought, “Why not?” I’m a big fan of green tea, and pomegranate sounded like a fun twist. Plus, it was a pretty good deal for a big box of 120 tea bags.
First, I boiled some water. While waiting, I grabbed a mug and unwrapped one of those tea bags. The aroma was pretty interesting—definitely got that green tea scent, but with a hint of something fruity and tart.
Once the water was ready, I poured it over the tea bag and let it steep. The instructions said 3-5 minutes, so I waited around 4 minutes. You could see the water turning a light, greenish-amber color.
After pulling out the tea bag, I took a sip. It’s definitely green tea, but that pomegranate flavor adds a nice little zing. It’s not overly sweet, more like a subtle tartness that complements the green tea. The taste was a bit sour and tart, but I liked it, I guess.
I tried it both hot and iced. For the iced version, I just brewed it like normal, let it cool down a bit, and then poured it over a glass full of ice. Both ways were good, but I think I preferred it hot. There’s just something comforting about a warm cup of tea, you know?
So, yeah, if you’re looking for a slightly different take on green tea, I’d recommend giving this Bigelow Pomegranate Green Tea a shot. It’s tasty, affordable, and a nice change of pace from your regular cup of tea.
