Okay, so, I was going to do something with black tea today, and I figured, why not make some bottled black tea? Let’s get into it.
First off, I gathered all the stuff I needed. I grabbed some black tea bags – nothing fancy, just the regular kind you find at the grocery store. I also got a big pot, some water, sugar, and a couple of bottles to store the tea in. Simple enough, right?
I filled the pot with water and put it on the stove to boil. While waiting, I unwrapped the tea bags. Once the water was boiling like crazy, I turned off the heat and tossed in the tea bags. I let them steep for a good while. I wanted that strong black tea flavor, you know?
After steeping, I removed the tea bags. Then came the sugar. I added it in gradually, stirring until it all dissolved. I tasted it a few times to make sure it was just how I liked it. Not too sweet, but not too bland either.
Once the tea was sweetened to perfection, I let it cool down. This took a bit of time, but you gotta be patient. When it was finally cool enough, I poured the tea into the bottles. I used a funnel to avoid spilling. I filled the bottles, sealed them up, and popped them in the fridge.
And that’s pretty much it! I now have a couple of bottles of homemade black tea chilling in the fridge. I might try adding some lemon next time, or maybe experiment with different types of black tea. The possibilities are endless, really. It’s all about finding what you enjoy and having a bit of fun in the process.
