So, I saw this jewelkeeper tea set online the other day, and I thought, “Hey, that looks kind of neat. I could use a new tea set.” I’ve been using the same old boring one for years, and it was time for a change. Plus, my niece’s birthday is coming up, and I figured this would be a perfect gift. It’s not too expensive, but it looks fancy enough to make her feel special. So, I went ahead and ordered it.

When it arrived, I was like a kid on Christmas morning. I ripped open the box and pulled out the tea set. It was packaged really well, with each piece wrapped in bubble wrap. No broken pieces, thank goodness! I unwrapped everything and laid it all out on the table.

It’s a pretty decent size set with many pieces.

  • one teapot
  • four cups
  • four saucers
  • four plates
  • one sugar bowl
  • one milk jug

The teapot is a good size, not too big and not too small, and the cups are just right for little hands. I tried it out with a little water.

The colors are really nice and girly. It’s got these cute little flower designs, and the whole set just looks so elegant. They are bright and colorful and do not feel cheap, even though it was not a top-dollar item.

I filled the teapot and poured myself a “cup” just to test it out. It pours nicely, no drips, which is always a plus. I also wanted to make sure it wasn’t too hot to the touch. But it was okay, I could hold the pot by the handle without burning myself.

Next, I tested the plates. They’re not huge, but they’re big enough for a few cookies or a small slice of cake. They feel pretty sturdy, too. I mean, I wouldn’t go throwing them around, but they seem like they can handle a bit of rough handling. And then I washed it all by hand just to see how it would hold up.

My Conclusion

All in all, I’m really happy with this tea set. I think my niece is going to love it. It’s cute, it’s functional, and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. Plus, it’s a good opportunity to teach her some table manners while having fun. I can already imagine us having tea parties together. Now, I just have to wait for her birthday to roll around. I’m excited to see her face when she opens it!
