Okay, so I’ve been getting into making my own iced tea lately. And let me tell you, the store-bought stuff just doesn’t compare. Today, I tried out this Gold Peak Black Tea, and it turned out pretty darn good. Wanna know how I did it?
First, I grabbed a big pot and filled it with about 8 cups of water. Brought that to a rolling boil, you know, the kind where the water is really bubbling like crazy.
Then, I took some Gold Peak black tea bags. Not sure exactly how many I used, probably around 6 or 7. Tossed them into the boiling water and turned off the heat. Let it sit there and steep for a good 10 minutes. I like my tea strong, so you might want to adjust that time if you don’t.
Then, I transferred the tea into a big pitcher, covered it and stuck it in the fridge. Gotta let it chill for at least a couple of hours before drinking. I guess I could have also poured it over a bunch of ice if I was in a hurry.
Finally, when it was nice and cold, I poured myself a tall glass over ice. Added a lemon wedge for a little extra somethin’ somethin’. And bam! There you have it, homemade Gold Peak black iced tea. It was refreshing, sweet, and just what I needed on a hot day.
Seriously, you guys gotta try making your own iced tea. It’s way better than the store-bought stuff, and it’s not even that hard. Plus, you can adjust the sweetness and strength to your liking. Give it a shot!
