Okay, so I’ve been dealing with some not-so-fresh breath lately, and I decided to try something new. I heard about using tea tree oil in mouthwash, and I thought, “Why not give it a shot?”
First, I grabbed a bottle of tea tree oil from the local health store. Make sure it’s 100% pure, no added junk. Then, I picked up a bottle of regular, unflavored mouthwash. You can go with your favorite brand here.
Now, for the mixing part. I poured about half of the mouthwash into an empty water bottle. Next, I added about 5 to 10 drops of the tea tree oil into the mouthwash bottle. You really don’t need a lot because this stuff is strong. Gave it a good shake to mix it all up.
I started using this concoction twice a day, just like regular mouthwash. Swished it around for about 30 seconds after brushing, and then spit it out. The first time, the taste was… interesting. Very strong and kind of medicinal, but not terrible.
After a few days, I got used to the taste. Actually, I kind of started to like it. It felt like it was really doing something. My mouth felt super clean, like, dentist-level clean. And I noticed my breath was definitely fresher.
I’ve been using this tea tree oil mouthwash for a couple of weeks now, and I’m pretty happy with the results. It’s a cheap and easy way to boost your oral hygiene. Plus, tea tree oil is known for its antibacterial properties, so it feels like I’m getting some extra protection against germs.
So, if you’re looking for a natural way to freshen your breath and maybe give your mouth a little extra cleaning power, this is worth trying. Just remember to start slow with the tea tree oil and see how you feel. It is not a bad try for me.
