Okay, so I’ve been trying out different cleansers lately, and I wanted to share my experience with the Isntree Green Tea Cleanser. I’ve heard some good things about it, and you know, green tea is supposed to be good for your skin, so I figured, why not give it a shot?

Getting Started

First off, I ordered it online. It arrived pretty quickly, which was nice. The packaging was simple, nothing too fancy, just a regular tube. I like that, it doesn’t feel wasteful.

The First Wash

So, the first time I used it, I followed the instructions. I wet my face with some lukewarm water, then I squeezed a little bit of the cleanser onto my hand. It’s a gel-like consistency, not too thick, not too runny. It smelled really fresh, like, you know, actual green tea, not some artificial fragrance. That was a good sign!

The Process

I massaged it onto my face for about a minute, making sure to get all around my nose and forehead, where I tend to get a bit oily. It didn’t foam up a lot, which I actually prefer. Some cleansers with tons of foam can be really drying, and I’ve got combination skin, so I have to be careful with that.

Then, I rinsed it off thoroughly with water.

After-Feel and Results

My skin felt really clean, but not that tight, stripped feeling you sometimes get. You know what I mean? It felt soft and smooth.

  • Clean feeling: Check!
  • Not drying: Double check!
  • Nice smell: Yep!

I’ve been using it twice a day, morning and night, for about two weeks now. I’ve noticed that my skin looks a bit brighter and clearer. I haven’t had any major breakouts, which is always a win. I’m not saying it’s a miracle worker, but it definitely seems to be agreeing with my skin.

I think it’s a pretty solid cleanser, especially if you’re looking for something gentle and refreshing. Will keep using to see how my skin goes on with it.
