Okay, so I’ve been wanting to try out some new fragrances, and I kept hearing about Elizabeth Arden’s White Tea line. I decided to give the “White Tea Vanilla Orchid” a shot, figured it sounded like a nice, cozy scent.

Getting My Hands on It

First, I looked around online to see where I could get it. Found it at a couple of department stores, and also on the Elizabeth Arden website itself. I ended up ordering it from the store since they delivered it the next day.

First Impressions

The bottle arrived, and it’s pretty simple and elegant – nothing too flashy. I sprayed a bit on my wrist, and my immediate thought was, “Oh, this is soft.” It’s definitely not a super strong, in-your-face kind of perfume. It’s more like a gentle, warm hug.

Sniffing It Out – the Actual Scent

  • Top Notes: At first, I got a little bit of a citrusy, almost tea-like smell. It wasn’t sharp or anything, just fresh and clean.
  • Middle Notes: This is where the vanilla and orchid really started to come through. It smelled sweet, but not like candy. More like a creamy, floral vanilla.
  • Base Notes: After a while, it settled down into this warm, slightly musky scent. It was still sweet, but more grounded. I could still smell it before sleep.

Wearing It Throughout the Day

I wore this fragrance all day to see how it lasted. It’s not one of those perfumes that fills a room, which I actually appreciate. I noticed myself getting little whiffs of it throughout the day, and it was just really pleasant and comforting. It felt perfect for a casual day, like running errands or just hanging out at home.

The lasting power was pretty decent. I could still smell it faintly on my skin after about 6-7 hours, though it was definitely more subtle by then.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I’m really happy I tried this one! It’s become my new go-to for days when I want something light, pretty, and not too overpowering. If you’re into soft, creamy florals with a touch of vanilla, you might want to check this one out. It’s like a cozy sweater in perfume form!
