Okay, so I finally got around to trying out the Mary Kay White Tea & Citrus Satin Hands set. I’ve seen it around, and honestly, the packaging always looked so fancy, but I wasn’t sure if it was worth the hype. But, my hands have been SO dry lately, so I figured, why not? Let’s see what happened.

Getting Started

First off, there are three parts to this whole thing. You’ve got the Protecting Softener, the Refining Shea Scrub, and the Nourishing Shea Cream. It feels like a whole spa treatment, which is kinda nice.

Step-by-Step Pampering

I started with the Protecting Softener. It’s this thick, almost Vaseline-like stuff. I scooped out a little bit and rubbed it all over my hands. It felt really greasy at first, but I guess that’s the “protecting” part. It’s fragrance-free, which my sensitive nose appreciates!

Next up, I used the Refining Shea Scrub. This one smells AMAZING – like a fancy tea shop or something. I took a dollop of the scrub and massaged it into my hands, focusing on my knuckles and any rough spots. It felt really gentle, not scratchy at all, which is good because my skin can be a bit sensitive.

After rinsing off the scrub, my hands already felt softer. Then, I applied the Nourishing Shea Cream. This is a lighter, more normal-feeling lotion. It also has that same white tea and citrus scent, which I’m totally loving. I worked it into my skin, and it absorbed pretty quickly, without leaving that greasy feeling.

The Results

Honestly, my hands felt ridiculously soft afterwards. Like, baby-soft. Even my cuticles looked better, which is a miracle. The scent lingered for a while, which was a nice bonus.

  • Softness Level: 10/10. Seriously, SO soft.
  • Scent: Fresh and clean, not overpowering.
  • Overall Experience: Felt like a mini spa day at home.

I can see why people like this stuff. It’s definitely a treat for your hands. I’ll probably keep using it, especially during the winter when my skin gets super dry. It is a little more involved than just slapping on some regular lotion, but sometimes, you just need that extra pampering, you know?
