Okay, so I’ve been trying to get into oolong tea lately. I kept seeing “Choice Organic Oolong Tea” pop up, so I figured I’d give it a shot. Here’s how it went down.

Finding the Tea

First, I went to the store – my usual grocery spot. I headed straight for the tea aisle, and it was kind of overwhelming, you know? So many boxes! I finally spotted the Choice Organic section, and luckily, they had the oolong. Grabbed a box – easy peasy.

Brewing Time

Back home, I put the kettle on. I read the instructions on the box – pretty standard stuff. They recommended using freshly boiled water and steeping for like 3-5 minutes. I filled my favorite mug with almost boiling water and tossed in the tea bag.

The Taste Test

After the longest 4 minutes of my life, I took out the tea bag. The tea looked nice and golden. I took a tentative sip…and it was pretty good! Not too bitter, kind of smooth, with a slightly floral thing going on. I was actually pleasantly surprised.I think adding honey is also good.

The Verdict

Honestly, I’m into it. I have try other oolong,but for a first try, this Choice Organic stuff is a winner. It’s not super fancy, but it’s a solid, everyday kind of tea. I’ll probably keep a box in my cupboard. Might even try it iced next time!
