So, I’ve been trying to kick my coffee habit lately, and my friend suggested I try lemon black tea. I was like, “Sure, why not?” I mean, I like tea and I like lemon, so it sounded pretty good.

I went ahead and brewed a cup of black tea the way I usually do, just hot water and a tea bag. Then I squeezed in some fresh lemon juice, maybe half a lemon’s worth. I took a sip, and honestly, it was pretty refreshing! It wasn’t too bitter, and the lemon added a nice zesty flavor.

I started drinking this lemon black tea every morning for a week. And you know what? I actually felt a bit more energized than usual. It wasn’t like the jolt you get from coffee, but more like a gentle wake-up. Plus, I didn’t get that afternoon crash I sometimes get with coffee.
