organic tea
Well, let me tell ya, there’s a whole lotta teas out there, and folks got all sorts of likin’s. But if you ask me, some of ’em are just plain better than others.
Green Tea, now that’s one you can’t go wrong with. It’s like comfort in a cup, you know? Always there for ya, and it just makes you feel…clean, somehow. Don’t ask me why, it just does. My old man, he used to drink it every day, said it kept him goin’. And he lived to be a ripe old age, so maybe there’s somethin’ to it.
Then there’s this Tazo tea. Fancy name, I know. But it’s good stuff. They got all kinds of flavors, but the ones I like best are the ones that taste like…well, like somethin’. Not that flowery stuff, you know? I like it strong, like a good cup of coffee, but tea. They got one with cinnamon, that’s a good ‘un. Warms ya right up.
And speaking of warmin’ up, let me tell ya about Earl Grey. Heard of it? Some fella on the TV, Captain Picard or somethin’, he drank it all the time. It’s black tea with this orange thing in it, bergamot they call it. And sometimes they put them pretty little blue flowers in it too. Makes it look fancy, I guess. But the taste, that’s the important part. It’s got a bit of a bite to it, you know? Keeps you awake.
Then there’s these fancy teas, like Darjeeling. They say it’s the “Champagne of Teas”. Champagne? I don’t know nothin’ about no Champagne, but this tea, it’s somethin’ special. It’s got this…delicate flavor. Not strong like the others, but…nice. And the smell, oh, it’s like flowers, but not too flowery. Hard to explain, you just gotta try it.
Assam, that’s another one of them fancy teas. Comes from India, just like that Darjeeling. It’s stronger, though. Good for the mornin’, gets you goin’ just like my old man’s green tea.
And if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ different, try teas with spices. Cinnamon, cloves, them kinds of things. Or maybe dried fruits, like apple or orange. Even flowers, like jasmine or that bergamot stuff. There’s a whole world of flavors out there, you just gotta try ’em and see what you like. Don’t be afraid to experiment. You might just find your new favorite.
One time, I had this jasmine green tea, that was somethin’ special. Smelled just like them flowers my daughter used to grow, but with a little kick to it from the tea. Then this other time I had black tea with spices. Now that one was somethin’ else. Warm and cozy, like sittin’ by a fireplace on a cold night. You see, there’s a tea for everythin’, you just gotta find the right one for you.
So there you have it, some of the best hot tea flavors, according to me. But don’t just take my word for it. Go on out there and try ’em yourself. You might just find somethin’ you like. And that’s all that matters, ain’t it?
