green tea
This here story all about that tea tree lemon sage thickening stuff. I heard folks talkin’ ’bout it, sayin’ it’s good for your hair, makes it all big and fluffy. My hair, it ain’t what it used to be. Used to be thick as a horse’s tail, now it’s thin like a spider’s web. So, I thought I’d give this a try, see if it can help this old head of mine.
They call it a shampoo. Now, shampoo, that’s just a fancy word for soap, far as I can tell. But this here soap, it’s got all sorts of things in it. Tea tree, lemon, and sage. Sounds like somethin’ you’d make a tea out of, not somethin’ you’d put on your head. But they say it works, so who am I to argue with the young people?
First off, this tea tree lemon sage thickening shampoo, it smells real strong. Like you walked into a lemon grove after a rain shower. And that tea tree, it’s got a sharp smell, kinda like medicine. But it ain’t a bad smell, just strong. Makes you feel all tingly, like you just took a dip in a cold creek. It’s real refreshing.
They say this tea tree stuff is good for your scalp. Keeps it healthy, they say. My scalp, it gets itchy sometimes. Especially in the winter when the air is dry as a bone. Maybe this tea tree will help with that. I sure do hope it helps, this itchy head drives me crazy! And it’s good for colored hair, too. I don’t color my hair anymore, too much work for this old lady. But if you do, this shampoo won’t mess it up, so I’m told.
And that lemon, well, everyone knows lemon is good for cleanin’. I use it to clean my kitchen sink, gets all the grime off. So I guess it makes sense it would clean your hair, too. And this lemon sage, well, sage is supposed to be good for all sorts of things. My grandma used to make a tea with it when I was a little girl. Said it would cure whatever ailed ya. Maybe it’ll cure my thin hair, too!
Now, I ain’t used it long enough to see if it really makes my hair thicker. But I can tell you this, it makes my hair feel real clean. And it smells good, too, after you get used to that strong smell. It lathers up real nice, too. Just a little bit goes a long way. And it rinses out easy, don’t leave no sticky stuff behind.
Some folks say you can use it every day. But others say that’s too much. They say it can dry out your hair if you use it too much. I guess it all depends on what kind of hair you got. If you got real oily hair, you can probably use it every day. But if your hair is dry like mine, maybe just a couple times a week. Gotta use your common sense, like always!
I reckon this tea tree lemon sage thickening shampoo is worth a try if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to make your hair feel clean and maybe, just maybe, a little thicker. It ain’t gonna work miracles overnight, but it might just help. And it sure does smell good. This shampoo is good for normal and oily hair. It’s a good thing to use, I tell ya. It won’t hurt your head or nothing. It’s just soap when you get down to it.
This here thickening shampoo, it ain’t cheap. But nothin’ good ever is, right? You get what you pay for, as they say. And if it helps my hair, then it’s worth every penny. ‘Cause a woman’s hair is her glory, that’s what my mama used to say. And even though I’m old, I still want my hair to look nice. Don’t want to be lookin’ like a scarecrow!
So, there you have it. That’s my two cents on this tea tree lemon sage thickening stuff. I think using it twice a week is good. I do that and my hair is happy. I’m gonna keep using it and see what happens. Maybe I’ll get my thick hair back after all. A girl can dream, can’t she? Just remember what I said, don’t use too much if your hair is dry. And don’t expect no miracles. But give it a try, you might just like it. It’s good stuff. Makes your hair feel real good. And that’s all that matters, right? Feeling good. And looking good, too. Even us old ladies like to look good, you know! This shampoo, it helps with that. It really does. It’s a good thing.
