Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get a new tea set for a while, and I finally decided to go for it. I’ve always loved the classic look of black and white, so I figured, why not a black and white tea set? Let me tell you about the whole process, it was quite a journey!

The Hunt Begins

First, I started by browsing online. I just typed “black and white tea set” into the search bar and, man, was I overwhelmed! There were so many options, from super modern to really traditional. I spent a good few hours just scrolling and saving pictures of the ones I liked.

Then I changed keyword, and typed “minimal black and white tea set”, oh, that’s good result.

Narrowing It Down

After the initial search, I had a bunch of different styles I was considering. I made a list (yes, I’m a list person!) of what I really wanted:

  • Must be ceramic (I just like the feel of it).
  • Needs to have at least four cups.
  • Should include a teapot, obviously!
  • Ideally, it would have a nice tray, too.
  • Price, I don’t wanna over 300RMB.

With this list, I went back to my saved photos and started eliminating the ones that didn’t fit. It was tough, but I finally narrowed it down to three potential sets.

Making the Decision

I showed the final three to my partner, hoping they could help me decide. We talked about the pros and cons of each one, like how one had a really cool geometric design, but another one looked more durable. Finally, after much deliberation, we picked the winner!

The Unboxing

The tea set arrived a few days later, and I was so excited! I carefully unpacked everything, making sure nothing was broken. It was all perfect! The set was even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. It had a simple, elegant design with a smooth matte black finish and delicate white accents. It’s so nice!

The First Tea Time

Of course, I had to try it out right away. I brewed a pot of my favorite Earl Grey tea, set the table with the new tea set, and invited my partner to join me. It felt so fancy and special! The tea tasted even better in the new cups (or maybe that was just my imagination!).

So, that’s the story of my new black and white tea set. It was a bit of a process, but I’m so happy with the final result. Now, every time I use it, I feel a little bit fancy and a whole lot happy. Cheers to that!
