Hey everyone, I’m back again to share another one of my little adventures in collecting. Today, it’s all about a Blue Willow Child’s Tea Set that I’ve been working on getting my hands on. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey!

So, first off, I started scouring the internet, because where else do you start these days, right? I spent hours browsing through various online marketplaces. I’m not going to mention any names, but let’s just say it’s a pretty popular site where people buy and sell all sorts of things. The goal was to find a Blue Willow child’s tea set, and let me tell you, the variety was overwhelming.

I scrolled through countless listings, comparing prices, conditions, and the completeness of the sets. I saw a lot of “Vintage Blue Willow Child’s Tea Set” and “Antique Blue Willow Children’s Tea Set” listings. Some were super expensive, like $124, $125, or even $85.99! Others were a bit more reasonable, around $75. There were also listings that just said “Children’s Blue Willow Tea Set,” which made me wonder about their age and authenticity. I’m no expert, but I wanted something that felt genuinely old and well-loved.

Then, I started to look more closely at the descriptions. One listing caught my eye because it mentioned exactly what was included: “tea pot with lid, sugar with lid, creamer, 6 cups and saucers, 6 biscuit plates.” That sounded pretty complete to me, and the pictures looked great. It was listed as vintage, which is what I was looking for. The price was on the higher end, but I decided to go with it and bought it.

After a few days, the package arrived. I eagerly opened it, carefully unwrapping each piece. It was like stepping back in time! Each piece was just as described, and I could almost imagine a little girl from decades ago having a tea party with her dolls. The blue willow pattern was so charming and intricate. It was pretty exciting to finally hold these pieces in my hands after all that searching.

I spent the next hour or so inspecting each piece, making sure there were no cracks or chips. I laid everything out on my table, admiring the complete set. It felt like a real accomplishment, a little piece of history that I now owned.
