Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with tea lately, specifically trying to get my hands on some bulk black tea. You know, for that good, strong, everyday kind of brew. Here’s how it all went down.

First, I started poking around online, just to see what was out there. I typed in a few searches like “wholesale black tea” and “bulk loose leaf tea,” and let me tell you, the results were overwhelming. There were tons of suppliers, all promising the best quality, the lowest prices, and organic, fair trade, you name it. It was a lot to take in.

I narrowed it down to a few places that looked promising. Some focused on businesses, you know, like cafes and restaurants, offering “CTC” and flavored teas. I’m not sure what “CTC” is, but it sounded fancy. Others seemed more geared towards regular folks like me, advertising “rich” and “bold” flavors, which is right up my alley.

• I found one place mentioning Rajbari Tea, which sounded exotic.
• Another talked about Assam and Darjeeling blends, and that got my attention because I’ve heard those are top-notch.
• Then there were the usual suspects, like English Breakfast and Earl Grey.

After comparing prices and reading some reviews, I decided to take the plunge and order from a couple of different suppliers. I figured it would be a good way to test the waters and see what I liked best.

The Waiting Game

Waiting for the tea to arrive was the hardest part. I was so excited to try it out! Finally, the packages showed up, and I wasted no time brewing up a pot.

The first one I tried was pretty good, a solid, everyday kind of black tea. The second one was a bit different, a little more complex. I’m still experimenting with different brewing times and amounts to get it just right.

All in all, it’s been a fun little adventure. I’ve learned a lot about black tea, and I’ve discovered some new favorites. I might even start blending my own. Who knows! The important thing is, I’ve got enough black tea to last me for a while, and that’s all that really matters.
