black tea
Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this bulk black tea, you know, the kind you buy in big bags. I ain’t no fancy tea expert or nothin’, but I know a thing or two ’bout savin’ a penny and gettin’ a good cuppa.
First off, why buy bulk? I’ll tell ya why. It’s cheaper, plain and simple. You go to them stores, they sell you them tiny little tea bags, and they charge you an arm and a leg! With bulk tea, you get a whole lotta tea for your money. It’s like buyin’ a big ol’ sack of potatoes instead of them pre-cut, fancy ones. You get more, and it lasts longer. Makes sense, right?
Now, talkin’ ’bout the tea itself. Black tea, that’s what we’re on about. There’s all sorts of fancy names they give it, like “SFTGFOP1” and “OP”. Sounds like gibberish to me! All I know is, some black tea is stronger, some is weaker. Some is kinda bitter, some is smoother. You gotta try a few kinds to figure out what you like. It’s just like pickin’ apples, some are sweet, some are sour, you get the hang of it after a while.
I heard some folks say the best black tea is the whole leaf kind, not the crushed-up stuff you find in cheap bags. They say it tastes better. Maybe so, maybe not. I reckon it’s up to you what you like. But if you’re buyin’ bulk, you’re probably gettin’ the whole leaf, or somethin’ close to it. That’s a good thing, I guess. More flavor for your money, that’s what I think.
Now, where to buy this bulk black tea? Well, you can go to them fancy tea shops, but they might charge you more. I say, look around. Sometimes you can find it at the grocery store, in the bigger bags. Or you can go online, plenty of places sell it there. Just make sure you’re gettin’ a good price, and don’t get fooled by all them fancy descriptions. You want black tea, that’s what you’re lookin’ for. Nothin’ more, nothin’ less.
And how do you make it? Well, that ain’t rocket science. You boil some water, put some tea leaves in a pot or a strainer, pour the hot water over ’em, and let it sit for a few minutes. How long you let it sit depends on how strong you like it. Some folks like it weak, some like it strong enough to stand a spoon in. Me? I like it somewhere in the middle. Then you pour it into a cup, maybe add a little sugar or milk, if that’s your thing. And there you have it, a good ol’ cup of black tea.
But don’t go throwin’ them tea leaves away after you make your tea! You can use ’em again, maybe not to make another cup, but you can put ’em in your garden, they say it’s good for the plants. Nothin’ goes to waste around here, no sir. That’s what I always say.
So, that’s my two cents on bulk black tea. It’s a good way to save money and get a good cup of tea. Ain’t nothin’ fancy about it, but it gets the job done. And in these times, that’s what matters most. Just good, plain tea, for good, plain folks. That’s what I say. And I’ve been drinkin’ tea for a long, long time, so I should know.
One last thing, don’t be afraid to try different kinds of black tea. Like I said, some is stronger, some is weaker. Some has a little extra flavor to it. You gotta experiment a little bit to find what you like best. But once you find it, you’ll be set. You’ll have your big bag of bulk black tea, and you’ll be sippin’ happy for a long time to come. And that’s all there is to it!
