coconut oil with tea tree

Okay, here is a blog post about my experience using coconut oil with tea tree:

So, I’ve been experimenting with some natural remedies lately, you know, trying to ditch the chemical stuff. And I heard about this combo: coconut oil and tea tree oil. I thought, why not give it a shot? I’m always up for trying something new, especially if it’s supposed to be good for you.

First, I went online to look for some coconut oil. There are tons of options out there, it’s kinda crazy. I found some good deals on Temu, and they even had free shipping for new users. And let me tell you, they had some serious discounts, like up to 90% off! I ended up getting a decent-sized jar for pretty cheap.

Mixing it Up

Once I got my coconut oil, I already had some tea tree oil at home. It is important not to directly apply tea tree oil to the skin because it can irritate. You need to mix it with a carrier oil such as coconut oil. I just eyeballed it, really. I took a couple of spoonfuls of the coconut oil, which was solid at room temperature, by the way, and put it in a small bowl. Then, I added like 5-6 drops of the tea tree oil. You don’t need much, that stuff is potent!

I stirred it all up with a spoon until the coconut oil softened a bit and the tea tree oil was mixed in. It smelled pretty strong, but not in a bad way, you know? Kind of refreshing, actually.

Testing it Out

  • For my face: I’ve been having these annoying breakouts lately. So I washed my face like usual and then applied a thin layer of the mixture to the affected areas. I did this before bed.
  • For my feet: My feet get super dry, especially in the winter. After a shower, I slathered some of the coconut and tea tree oil mix on my feet, focusing on the heels, and then put on some socks.

The Results

Okay, so here’s the deal. For my face, I did notice that the redness went down a bit overnight. It didn’t magically clear up all my pimples, but it definitely seemed to calm things down. I’ve been using it for about a week now, and I think my skin is looking a little better. Not perfect, but better.

As for my feet, man, this stuff is amazing! My heels were cracked and rough, and after just a few days of using this mixture, they’re so much softer. I’m actually kind of shocked at how well it worked on my feet.

Overall, I’d say this coconut oil and tea tree oil experiment was a success. It’s definitely something I’ll keep using, especially for my dry feet. And hey, it’s way cheaper than those fancy creams and lotions, which is always a plus! It’s not a miracle cure, but it works. You should try it sometime!
