5. Stick it in the fridge. Now, this is the important part. You gotta let it sit for a good long while. For black tea, I’d say at least 8 hours, maybe even 12. Overnight is usually good.
6. Strain it out. Once it’s done steeping, you gotta strain out the tea leaves. If you used tea bags, just take ’em out. If you used loose leaf, you’ll need a strainer. Pour it slow and easy, don’t want them leaves messing up your tea.
7. Drink it up! You can drink it straight, or pour it over ice. Sometimes I add a little lemon or somethin’ if I’m feelin’ fancy. But mostly, I just drink it plain. It’s good that way, real good.
