Alright, let’s talk about this here soap, the, uh, “Dial White Tea Bar Soap.” Don’t know much about fancy names, but I know a good soap when I smell one, ya know?

First off, what’s this “white tea” stuff all about? Sounds like somethin’ them city folks drink, all fancy-like. But they put it in soap now, huh? Well, I’ll be. They say it’s supposed to be good for your skin, makes it soft and whatnot. I ain’t complainin’, my old skin sure could use some help. Always gettin’ dry and itchy, ‘specially in the winter. If this here soap can fix that, then it’s worth its weight in gold, I tell ya.

Now, I’ve used a lot of soaps in my time, lemme tell ya. Some are good, some are bad, and some just plain don’t work. This Dial soap, though, it seems alright. It lathers up real good, makes lots of bubbles. And the smell, it ain’t too strong, which is good. I don’t like them soaps that smell like a flower garden exploded, gives me a headache somethin’ fierce. This one, it’s just a nice, clean smell, kinda like, well, tea, I guess. Never smelled tea before, but if it smells like this soap, then I reckon I like it.

What I Like About It:

  • It cleans good. That’s the most important thing, right? Gets rid of the dirt and grime, makes ya feel fresh and clean.
  • It smells nice, not too strong. Just a good, clean smell.
  • It makes lots of bubbles. I know, I know, it sounds silly, but I like a soap that lathers up real good. Makes me feel like I’m gettin’ extra clean.
  • They say it’s good for your skin. Like I said, my skin ain’t what it used to be, so anything that helps is a plus in my book.

What I Don’t Like (or things I’m not sure about):

  • I don’t know about this “antibacterial” stuff. Seems like everything’s antibacterial these days. Is it really necessary? I mean, we survived just fine without it for years, didn’t we? I ain’t sayin’ it’s bad, just not sure if it’s all that important.
  • Some folks say it can dry out your skin. Now, that’s a problem. Like I said, my skin’s already dry, I don’t need no soap makin’ it worse. I guess I’ll have to wait and see how it does over time.
  • The price, well, I don’t rightly know how much these things go for these days, but I hope it ain’t too expensive. I ain’t made of money, ya know? A good soap shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg.

I saw some folks talkin’ online about different kinds of this Dial White Tea soap. Some come in a pack of six, some in a pack of twelve, even sixteen! And there’s somethin’ called “round soap” too. Land sakes, so many choices! I just got the regular bar, nothin’ fancy. Guess it does the job just fine.

They also said somethin’ about this soap not bein’ made no more. “Discontinued,” they called it. Well, that’s a shame. Seems like every time I find somethin’ I like, they stop makin’ it. But then they said there’s other soaps with the “same great formula.” So, maybe it ain’t so bad after all. As long as it cleans good and doesn’t dry out my skin, I’m happy.

Oh, and another thing, they say white tea is supposed to be good for sunburns and stuff. I don’t get sunburned much these days, spend most of my time indoors. But it’s good to know, I guess. And it’s supposed to fight bacteria and acne. Well, I’m past the age of worryin’ about acne, thank the Lord. But if it keeps my skin healthy, that’s a good thing.

Anyways, I’ve been usin’ this Dial White Tea soap for a few days now, and I gotta say, it’s pretty good. My skin feels soft and clean, not all dry and itchy like it usually is. It ain’t no miracle worker, but it’s a good, solid soap. And that’s all I ask for, really. Nothin’ fancy, just somethin’ that cleans good and doesn’t cost a fortune. So, if you’re lookin’ for a new soap to try, I reckon this Dial White Tea soap is worth a shot. Just don’t go expectin’ it to make you young again, ’cause that ain’t gonna happen, no matter how much soap you use. Trust me on that one.
